Also in attendance will be the 1st Infantry Division Reenactment Group from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The First Infantry Reenactment Group is a non-profit group of amateur World War II historians and enthusiasts. Soldiers at the event will interact with the public at the displays. We are hoping to include a weapons demonstrations and a small battle may be waged by Allied and Axis reenactors! Our goal is to bring the entire Sun City Center Community together for this patriotic event. We encourage local businesses and military organizations to reserve a display table. What a great opportunity to thank our Veterans and bring recognition and awareness (and maybe a few new members) to your organization. For more information or to reserve your table, contact the Retired Officers’ Corporation at (813) 633-4467 or email Corena Fristad at cfristad@brookdale. com.
