AUSTRALIA Day saw 35 very keen golfers endure a scorching day on the course, but a great time was had by all, particularly at the end with a delicious BBQ and a few coldies to celebrate the day!

The winners of the 2 person Ambrose were J and M Sharp with 63.75 from R Norberry and Z Watt with 65.25.

NTPs were J Stellema and J Sharp.

Saturday January 28 was the Monthly Mug stroke event, and 40 golfers (including 5 visitors) played through another very hot day.

Z Watt didn’t mind the heat and won the Mug and C Grade with a terrific 64nett from G Willadsen with 72nett.

The A Grade winner was A Gardiner with 68nett on a c/b from S McNaughton and C Wheatley.

B Grade winner was D Shultz with 69nett on a c/b from S Moss.

The ladies mug winner was A Benson with 73 nett from T Stellema with 74 nett.

NTPs were B Hopley, S Moss, J Stellema and B Gordon.

Long drivers were B Hopley, C Wheatley, Z Watt and B Gordon.

A Benson won the $40 Jackpot.

Two 2022 championships will be played next weekend.

The Men’s Foursomes on Saturday and the Mixed Foursomes on Sunday.

Darts are on every Thursday night, names in by 6.45pm, darts start 7pm. Everyone is welcome.
