The Dressing Room on Main is a women’s boutique tucked away in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. It is owned and operated by Deanna McCoubrie and Joanna Papadaniil. We are a family owned and operated Garden Center that has been in existence for over 115 years and is in its 4th generation. The business started around 1885 as a general store named Morton & Haines. They sold groceries and farmers’ supplies, including farm equipment. It housed the “Parry Post Office” until the free rural delivery system was inaugurated.  At that time the post office was moved to its current site – “The Palmyra Post Office”.  As farms in the area were sold, they added a Buick Dealership known as Haines Buick.

On our ancestral site, which is rich in history, with the tradition of a turnpike, tollhouse, a historic store and post office, the family firm continues.  Great-grandchild, Todd Perkins,

and wife Beth, run the business today.

Although we no longer sell farm equipment or Buicks, Haines Farm & Garden is now comprised of a Garden Center, Gift Shop and a Pond Department.  We still offer old fashioned service, quality products, a friendly staff and our dogs, Bubba Gump, Lester & Mojo.  Parts of the building and some of the scales that we use today, were used in the original general store.

Our fall offerings include Mums, Ornamental Kale, Pansies, Pumpkins, Cornstalks and Straw. We carry Bagged & Bulk Mulches, Soil, Stone & Sand. Other gardening products carried are Retaining Wallstone, Belgium Blocks, Containers, Gazing Balls, Concrete Statu-

In our Organic Department our most popular product is Safe & Simple Corn Gluten.  It helps control crabgrass, dandelions, chickweed and most importantly is not harmful to the environment.   We carry a full line of Espoma Products, including a 4 Step Lawn Program that is chemical free and safe for kids and pets, Organic Disease & Insect Control and Milky Spore Grub Control.  Additional products include Earthworm Castings, Alaska Fish Fertilizer and Diatomaceous Earth.  Compost bins and rain barrels are also available.

DiBartolo European Bakery

Our story began in 1969 in Pennsauken, NJ, when 58-year-old Benjamin DiBartolo realized that there was no better time to pursue his dream of starting a family-run business. Artistic and energetic in the kitchen, Benjamin was known by family and friends as a fantastic baker. After honing his craft at The Wilton Cake Decorating School

in Illinois, DiBartolo opened the doors of DiBartolo Bakery—and we’ve been making exquisite confections for our community ever since.

Mulford Dance Studio - 29th Thanksgiving Day Parade Performance!

Mulford Dance Studio will be performing for our 29th year in the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia! The parade airs on 6abc Thanksgiving morning. Our dancers will perform during the Opening, the Finale and you can also find us on the Mrs. Claus Float featuring Leah Marlene of American Idol. Make sure you tune in to watch us put on one of our best shows yet!

And after 70 years, Mulford Dance Studio is still teaching dancers of all ages! We offer Adult programs, Recital & Non-Recital classes, Saturday Camps, as well as our new Standing Ovation Theater Company. We also have formed partnerships in the community because we feel that connecting, giving back and volunteering within our community gives our dancers a richer and happier life.

Our studio is also an award-winning studio. Along with many other awards, our

company dancers won the top studio award at Onstage America Nationals in Cape May for the age 12 and under division, along with the Tap Excellence Award for all participating studios and best choreography. Although we only compete a couple times a year, we take pride in our dancers and teachers’ accomplishments. We use competition as one of our guides to be sure we stay current and competition encourages dancers to push themselves.

A successful dance education requires qualified, motivated instructors who know how to develop each dancer based on age and ability. Our teachers are highly trained and excited to teach.

Along with our full year program, we offer a Non-recital dance track 8-week course. We specialize in classes for ages 6 and under offering a few options, including the popular All By Myself. This is a 30-minute class for ages 2 to 3 who want to

try class alone like the big kids. *New Non Recital 8 week courses beginning in January 2023.–View the schedule on our website 24/7.

Class size is kept to approximately an 8-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio for our younger classes allowing for

individual attention. Building a strong rapport between instructors and students is very important so that the child feels safe, confident and is able to be comfortable to take corrections. We take care to have regular meetings to go over classroom ideas and curriculum updates

for all levels.

Meet the VAXX SQUAD from Sanctuary Foundation for Veterans

The VAXX SQUAD is a group of outreach staff selected to implement a New Jersey Department of Health grant awarded to Sanctuary Foundation for Veterans in Willingboro, NJ. Our team, lead by LaShaunda Carter, CEO, collaborates with organizations throughout Burlington County to reduce “Covid vaccine hesitancy”.

Our target audience includes homeless veterans, their families, and anyone facing housing insecurity. Our objective is to identify at risk and disenfranchised members living in Bur-

lington County. Through focus groups, our team surveys individuals in a variety of settings including homeless communities. Our information is updated based on data from the Center for Disease Control and the Department of Health. We have completed over 1,850 surveys that help us to identify outreach needs and have distributed over 8,000 pieces of Covid 19 educational and resource materials.

Our focus is to identify those with vaccine hesitancy and dispel the myths regarding Covid 19 vaccines, provide education and vaccine referral sites

throughout the county, including our partners from Southern Jersey Family Medical Center, and identify unmet needs of veterans. Our organization provides assistance with application forms for benefits, housing, transportation, and most importantly emotional support.

They leased some land from Dan’s family who had been farming in Mickleton for over a century, planted some grapes and hoped for the best! Fourteen years, 18 – 25 wines and three little boys later, they are still moving forward with all the energy and creativity they started with! They started the Three Boys Brand in 2009, to separate their traditional estate wines from their line of unique boutique blends. By 2010, Dan and Heather were ready to purchase a farm of their own. Not only did they want to stay near Mickelton where their vines were maturing beautifully, but they

also wanted a small farm where they could live onsite, have room for their boys to run and open a tasting room. Leaving the 2010 Woodstown Fall Festival, they found their new home at 1401 Route 45. By Mother’s Day 2011, they had planted vines and opened their tasting room. However, as the saying goes, “a rolling stone gathers no moss,” the Browns started a new venture in 2014, Crop @1401. They put up two high tunnels and planted a variety of fruits and vegetables for their boys to farm and sell. As a result of the pandemic, they turned one of those high tunnels into a year-round entertainment space. While seated in the 4500 square foot heated greenhouse, now named

La Serra @1401 (greenhouse in Italian), guests can enjoy the ever growing and changing varietals that they have planted, as well as the wine and food ~ made with the same! The name “Wagonhouse Winery” was decided upon to celebrate the old wagonhouse on the Brown family farm. The idea was to build a tasting room someday modeled after that very building. Ironically enough, the building that is now their tasting room was once the site of the original wagonhouse for the farm located at 1401 Route 45, and they have the pictures to prove it! After the trail, make sure to stop by the bonfires for some hot chocolate and s’mores. After enjoying the bonfires, you can even walk through the trail a SECOND time!

Antiques and Clocks Repair and Service has been family owned and operated for 34 years. Founded by Master Clockmaker, David Fisher and his wife Lisa, they opened their business in the late 1980’s as a small antique and clock store located in Cinnaminson. As time went on and their family grew, they decided to work from their home in Moorestown, which enabled them to fix clocks and spend time with their family.

Clock repair requires skill with an intricate knowledge of the machinery that powers the clock. Each clock is unique, especially older antique clocks that were made in the earlier centuries. There are only a few master repairers left in Southern New Jersey and in the digital age few people have taken up the ancient art. Master Clockmaker, David Fisher, is one of the few who takes care of hundreds of historical and every day clocks.

For David, clock repair work is a rewarding challenge. Seeing families reunite with happy memories from childhood, special events and even inherited timepieces from a loved one who lived generations ago, is just one additional benefit to a

job well done.

While David does the repairs, his wife Lisa handles clock research, marketing and scheduling.

The Voorhees Ballet Theatre is a non-profit organization offering an educational, professional experience for the serious-minded student interested in pursuing a professional career in the per-

forming arts. Artistic Director Suzanne C. Steinbach started The Voorhees Ballet Theatre in 1986 hoping to give these eager, young artists performance opportunities. The Ensemble Members and Apprentices have performed all over the Delaware Valley at various banquets and community events, plus many nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the area.
