EDEN PROECT A 25-minute drive from Truro lies the world-famous Eden Project. opened to the public in March 2001 and it became an instant success, with one million
months. There are two biomes: a Mediterranean biome and a rainforest biome, which features a waterfall of recycled water and is large enough inside. They are home to approximately one million plants. Visitors are also able to learn more about the climate and sustainability. As well as being a tourist  the Eden Sessions, a series of summer music events that have featured the likes of Oasis, Muse and the late Amy Winehouse.

HELSTON
One of the county’s most ancient market towns, Helston is steeped in history. Much of this can be found at Helston Folk Museum, which looks back over the centuries. Helston was home to world champion boxer Bob Fitzsimmons and lifejacket. The town also has its own real ale, Spingo, brewed on site at the Blue Anchor pub.
