Mayor Keith Kazmark recently swore in three Woodland Park Police Officers - Dylan Mulroony and Massimo Iacovo, along with Special II Police Officer David Garcia.

Dylan Mulroony was born and raised in Woodland Park, attended all Woodland Park public schools and Passaic Valley High School. After high school, Dylan attended Bergen Community College where he earned an associate’s degree in political science. Throughout the years, Dylan has had several different job experiences including WP DPW summer help, Essex Fells DPW, Suez Water Company, and, most recently, a lineman for PSE&G. Growing up, Dylan had hoped to one day become a police officer, following in the steps of his family members.

David Garcia, 19, has lived in Woodland Park his entire life. He attended all three grammar schools in Woodland Park and then went to high school at the Passaic County Technical & Vocational Schools. While growing up and being involved in the town, seeing the Woodland Park Police Officers have always inspired him to pursue a career in law enforcement. In his junior year, during the Coronavirus pandemic, David looked for ways to serve the community and found no better way than joining the West Paterson Volunteer Fire Department. After graduating high school, he began working for the Woodland Park DPW, where he is currently employed, and he is also serving the Borough as a firefighter.

Massimo Iacovo graduated from Hawthorne High School in 2017 and is now living in Woodland Park. Massimo comes from a family of police officers and firefighters. After high school, he attended electrical trade school working full-time as an electrician. While he loved working as an electrician and helping people, he wanted to make public service his career. After earning certifications in CPR, basic telecommunications, and emergency medical dispatch, Massimo worked for two years with the Wayne Police Department as an emergency dispatcher.
