LITTLE FALLS, N.J. - Play ball!
The Township held its opening day ceremony for its youth baseball and softball programs at the Little Falls Sports and Recreation Complex turf field on April 22..
A parade took place prior to the ceremony, led by Passaic Valley High School’s marching band, Mayor James Damiano and the Little Falls Council, including all of the baseball and softball teams from Pre-K through eighth grade. Starting at School No. 1, participants marched down Stevens Avenue towards Main Street, followed by a left onto Paterson Avenue before entering the field.

Damiano thanked those who helped make the day possible, which included members of the LFAC, the Little Falls Department of Public Works (LFDPW), the Little Falls Police Department, and Little Falls EMS for “making sure everything runs smoothly and keeping everyone safe.”
“I also want to thank John
Pace and and Tyler Passero of the Recreation Department for their hard work, and all the parents who volunteer all of their time in making these events possible,” he added. “Let’s have a loud cheer for our 2023 baseball and softball seasons!”

“So please find out how you can volunteer, because it takes a big team to pull off all these sports programs,” Mugleston added.

Very friendly staff! Dr J was referred to me by a coworker and I was just as pleased with his bedside manner and professionalism. He explained all my options and I didn’t feel pushed to make a quick decision.

First of all, booking an appointment was so easy! I submitted a request online and got a phone call not even 10 minutes later from Ebony to confirm an appointment. Dr. Joshi, the ladies at the front desk, the x-ray technician and all of the staff I encountered were very busy yet remained friendly. They are also very professional and clean. I am so satisfied with my visit that I am trying to get my family to book an appointment there.

LITTLE FALLS, N.J. - It was a bright and sunny morning for the very first annual Bike Rodeo event in Little Falls on May 6, which brought out approximately 80 preregistered cyclists of all ages enjoying some outdoor recreation, while being provided with safety checks for their bikes and helmets.
The event was spearheaded by Councilwoman Christine Hablitz. It was a collaborative effort between the Little Falls Recreation Department, the Little Falls Township Council and the Little Falls Police Department (LFPD).
The bike route first started on the obstacle course set up at School 1’s playground area. Cyclists then continued through an obstacle course along Walnut Street, Lincoln Avenue, Stanley Street and finished on Ridge Street. The course also included an opportunity for cyclists to see how fast they could go as the LFPD had a radar check on Lincoln Avenue.
Upon completion of the entire course, cyclists then received a certificate from Cpl. Jon Vanak of the LFPD.
Hablitz said the goal of the Bike Rodeo is to promote bicycle safety along with the LFPD, while providing a vehicle-free route for cyclists to bike through and enjoy.
