This half term, it was the Year 8's opportunity to raise funds for a charity of their choice They have chosen The Store Cupboard The Store Cupboard is a charity that was founded during the peak of the pandemic in 2020 by local volunteers. It helps families who have a low budget for food by providing goods that are donated by food banks and volunteers, at an extremely affordable price After paying £3 50-£4 00, members will receive groceries worth £40-£50 and they support over 40 families every 6 months

Bake Sale

On the 10th March, there was a charity bake sale held at break time There was a variety of treats consisting of flapjacks brownies cupcakes cookies cinnamon swirls cake pops and much more! The sale was a huge success as we managed to sell out extremely quickly and raised over £100!

Year 8 Fair

We had a variety of stalls at the Year 8 fair, from selling various yummy goodies, to homemade items that students could take home for themselves or loved ones

PJ Day

On Thursday 16th of March, we ran a charity pyjama party. At our event we watched the hit TV show, Modern Family and sold popcorn, sweets and hot chocolate to those who participated In the end, everything was sold out and we made over £150 Years 7 and 8 were also allowed to wear pyjamas during the event and for periods seven and eight, which made it all the more enjoyable
