VOLUNTEERING

EALING RIDING SCHOOL & CATS PROTECTION CHARITY

I have volunteered at Ealing Riding School for over 2 years now and enjoy it so much that I will continue to volunteer for years to come

Volunteering at the stables involves caring for and handling horses, helping out with jobs around the yard and leading lessons and pony rides

I have also been pursuing a volunteering opportunity with the Cats Protection Charity, where I can help to look after the cats in the adoption center

Volunteering is always a great opportunity to help out and is good practice for future work experiences

Police Cadets

The last volunteering opportunity I had was to help out an event as a police cadet We all got assigned different jobs depending on if we were a senior or junior cadet senior cadets were signing people in as well as giving people hot drinks.

As a junior cadet I helped out by offering people food as they were listening to carols being sung After handing out all the food we helped if people needed anything and were there to help the police officers run the event

This is a great volunteering opportunity and if you are interested in finding out more, please go to the charity and volunteering section of the student noticeboard - there is contact information there
