Whatcha Watching?
W2W Magazine polled the Editorial Committee to find out what shows they are or have bingewatched recently and why. Maybe you’ll find some new shows to add to your binge watch list!
My husband and I have watched The Office from start to finish twice now and catch reruns and it doesn’t get old! Their silly humor is a great distraction.

Succession on HBO. It is the absolute perfect mix of drama, dark humor, and family dysfunction. The ending of season 2 gave me chills.
– SARA FRASSINELLI, Digital Marketing & Social Media at Spherion Staffing
My wife and I just finished bingeing on ‘1883’ on Paramount, and cannot say enough great things about the storytelling, stunning scenery and cast. You could almost imagine yourself in the story, thinking about the events that unfolded.
– TRACY HOFFMANN, Publishing Professional at Hoffmann Publishing Group
Our most recent binges were during the pandemic. We binged The Queen’s Gambit, Ozark, Bridgerton and Schitt’s Creek.
– MONICA RUSH, Director of Rehabilitation
Services at Penn State Health St. Joseph
We’ve watched Rachel Bloom’s Crazy Ex Girlfriend all the way through a couple of times. It is so silly on the surface, but it also addresses psychology and social issues in a surprisingly genuine way. Plus, the songs are so catchy that we listen to them around the house, or sing them to each other, all the time.
– KATIE JOHNSEN, Event Coordinator at the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance
Inspired by a late-summer, long-anticipated long weekend with my sister in Baltimore, I tackled all five seasons of The Wire (I’ve been a David Simon fan since Homicide: Life on the Streets which regrettably is NOT available to binge anywhere).
– KIRSTEN HAAS, Executive Director at
Girls on the Run Berks County
Favorite binge watch in the last year: Schitt’s Creek – when it landed on Netflix, I enjoyed every episode over an entire weekend. Lots of Canadianisms, plus I grew up watching Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara on SCTV! And its creator Dan Levy is almost a perfect person.
