ARTHRITIS Arthritis refers to a „wearing down“ of the joints. A joint generally involves the connection of two bones and their movement. The articular surfaces of these bones are coated with cartilage, which prevents them from rubbing against one another. Cartilage does not contain blood vessels and must receive nutrients through joint fluid. In arthritis, the joint cartilage is damaged, allowing the surfaces to rub against one another and causing pain. Exercise will often lessen pain somewhat. Damaged cartilage cannot regenerate. However, a targeted diet can help to slow down degenerative progression and reduce discomfort. A barn which allows sufficient movement is also important.

It contains essential fatty acid, gamma-oryzanol and natural vitamin E. Essential fatty acids must be taken in through the feed. Gamma-oryzanol can increase the readiness to perform.
