September is the most special and favored time of the year in the beautiful jewel, Belize. It is that time when we celebrate and honor this land and its people which "God's Goodness' gave to us. It is a time when we recognize and pay homage to perhaps the two most significant national days in our nation's history: the Battle of St George's Caye on the 10th of September and Belize's Independence Day on the 21st. This year we observe the 216th Anniversary of St George's Cay Day and the 33rd Anniversary of our Independence.
