The Zig Zag Stool explores the sculptural and structural capacities of steel rod in order to present a stool that is sturdy, yet appears light and delicate. The perforated sheet metal of the seat accents this lightness with its lacelike quality. The slanted foot rest provides a dynamic visual component, activating the otherwise symmetrical elements. At 28” tall, the slanted footrest sits at both 12” and 16” above the ground, accommodating adults and children alike.
