Thirty members of Mazama’s FBLA chapter attended the State Business Leadership Conference held in Portland at the beginning of April. Competitors anxiously awaited their opportunity to give their speeches or presentations to panels of judges. (Many students had also completed online computer tests at Mazama before the conference.) Members attended workshops on business-related subjects and took advantage of opportunities to tour the Nike Store, Rose Garden, and Portland State University. Competitors were excited at the Saturday morning closing session when Mazama students received many awards on stage. Six students have earned the right to compete at the National level in Anaheim in June!

Mazama FBLA members carried away 26 awards on stage–including 2nd place in Chapter of the Year. n/a
