(°1981, Hong Kong) is photographer who mainly works with sport photography. By emphasising aesthetic elements, Nic records recognizable athletes with artistic conception in which the viewer is confronted with the conditioning of an inception and has to discover the unrefined rare earths. His photos sometimes reflect the visual seductiveness of athletes, along with the conciseness of the body expressions, further complicates the perception of their manifest layers of meaning. His works allow us to reunderstand sport photography as being an artistic medium in our contemporary society. By questioning the oppressed aesthertic value of sport, he seduces the viewer into a still form of observing how the athletes articulate the stream of sport events. Emotion of athletes are not only the element to punctuate the existed moment, but in order to connect our existence to a poetic meaning in everyday life.
