Q ASKED what are some alternatives to oil so it isn’t such an issue for this enviornment? how do we get people to care about stuff that is solely underwater? (ex: noise pollution, coral reef) do things like climate change & rising tempuratures ruin efforts in preserving coral reefs? how do you change the typical ‘it’s too late to change it now’ attitude?

Q ANSWERED how do we get people to understand the seriousness of this topic? if nothing changes, what will happen to the ocean and the marine animals? why aren’t national parks and oceans held at the same value to the public?

THANK YOU!

audience persona OLIVE is a 32-year-old physical therapist who graduated from Duke University. She met her now-husband when they both worked at their school gym- they both now reside in San Francisco with their greyhound- Sonic. They live in a modern loft in Nob Hill- the aesthetic of their apartment is neutral colors and natural textures. Olive and her husband frequent the gym and are one of those couples who post workout videos on Instagram that most people skip through. You will never find her in a Walmart/Target, she solely shops at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, or Sprouts. Instead of binging Netflix or watching movies, in her downtime, she prefers a quick hike or strolls around the neighborhood. When Olive isn’t at work or exercising, she loves cooking. She especially enjoys creating healthy versions of baked goods such as banana bread, chocolate cake, and even lattes. She has a color-coded bookshelf in her kitchen that is designated for cookbooks, and her goal in life is to curate her cookbook called One Plate at a Time ©. When she isn’t studying her cookbooks- her go-to book includes something thrilling/murder mystery/spooky related- usually a Stephen King book. She prides herself on how last year she donated everything in her closet and started thrifting all her clothes- she has an Instagram highlight on her profile named ‘THRIFT.’ After posting her story to Instrgam she gained a following and was reached out to by online thrifting company, thredUP, and her discount code for 20% off is OLIVE20.

FINNEGAN OR FINN, for short, is a 25-year-old architecture engineer with a focus on sustainability at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. He just got out of a three-year relationship to focus more on his career and future aspirations. Finn lives in a studio apartment in the heart of Covent Garden, London. The furniture in his apartment is all passed down from his older brother Jeffery when he moved to the United States after marrying someone from New York. The apartment is an organized mess, with crumpled paper and pens scatted on the floor, aka his ‘workspace.’ Finn owns two long-haired cats named Bonnie and Clyde, who, after his neighbor moved out, left two kittens behind, and he felt like taking care of them would promise him good karma later in life. When Finn isn’t in studios or working on homework, he loves having his mates over and hosting a game night with lots of beer and catchphrase. He is currently binging The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes on Netflix, but his guilty pleasure is Gossip Girl, he thinks Dorota is Gossip Girl currently. Finn doesn’t have much time to read, but he occasionally reads popular books like ‘Gone Girl’ after his mom gives them to him after yelling at him for looking at screens all day.
