Natural Organic Structures

The theme of my project is Natural Organic Structure. I decided to do living Architectures which is my I decided to research living plants. Some of the features of organic architecture are open-concept spaces that flow freely, references to nature in the use of colours, patterns, and textures, and the feeling of being sheltered from the elements. There should be a balance between peace and decoration in a space to allow for reflection and uncluttered space.

• Using the flower petals of the sunflower I sketched a pavilion idea that I might use in mu project. I used the buds of the flower as a ceiling on the pavilion.

• I notice that the plant has a more layering pattern and I try to interpret it into my development by making it have a more circular appearance

• The different between the size and people ratio is too large so I decided to treat as more of an idea sketch

• Experimenti ng with circular shapes

I started developing my shapes again to make it become more abstract.
