Then I show a City Planning Project that i did during the same semester. I also show an housing project that I did during the 2nd semester of the 2nd year. At the end there are two projects that I did during my bachelor at Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio. All the projects that include drawings, renders and models shown, have been done by myself unless otherwise stated.

Architecture that floats must be “suspended over the water: the liquid element, a tool of communication. Sheets of plexiglas thermoformed to a negative matrix with the technique of vacuum. The product of this process was a form in a positive, composed of most parties generates a floating roof. It consists of several parts that generate a floating pavilion supported by pilotis, containing a level of liquid in proportion to the weight to be supported.
Riccardo Blumer riccardo.blumer@usi.ch Assistants Arch. A. G. Freire, M. Borghi, D. Tomasina
To reach the final product it was necessary to calculate the amount of water to be included within the pilotis adopting the law of Archimedes. End result: the structure floats near the entrance, which happens only by a flight of stairs.

del Magadino,Tissin. Switzerland The purpose of the project is to create, on a plot of 300 m, a recreational area for those who have social problems. My choice was to design a weawing. On the ground floor there is an area for processing and one for sales. The first floor, instead, is a living space for four boys and a guardian.

WORKING EXPERIENCE
At the end of my second Bachelor year, I have had a significant working experience at the Aires Mateus Studio, precisely at Manuel Mateus one, for four months in Lisbon, within Erasmus Placement program. I participated in several projects, ranging from international competitions to technical drawings. Main activities and responsibilities: I helped to work on a housing project, situated in Lisbon, doing 3D models; I participated in the Lausanne Competition, which they won, doing plaster and resin models; I coordinated the construction of a model of the Trindade Monastery, situated in Coimbra. Result of 600 hours of work. Experience essential in order to understand what will be the impact on future work in the chosen field. An opportunity for deal with people who came from different paths, and not only from the learning point of view. A chance to get involved, to understand what are their goals, their skills and the points on which you are weakest.
