PRELIMINARY PROCESS

PROJECT OVERVIEW NEXT is a global technology company that has been in business for almost 10 years, with a small start-up and headquarters in San Francisco, California. NEXT is preparing to open their first satellite office in Atlana, Georgia. With plans to provide a more robust option to a work from home policy, it is planned to expand through out the United States, Europe, and Asia over a five year span. This expansion was planned prior to the recent global Pandemic but, will work well moving into Post-Pandemic. Staff will be provided with a safe working enviornment, some will have the option to lower their living cost, and allowing NEXT to hire more diverse talents are all benefits we will see by reducing the density and population of San Francisco and expanging to Atlanta. The new office needs to continue the strong reputations for collaboration and team based work while still considering healthy and safety in the workplace from these Post-Pandemic adjustments. Including technology will be important to ensure employees working from San Francisco, Atlanta, and even home can collaborate. NEXT is also striving to utilize design principles to encourage and support the wellbeing of humans.
