PROJECT SCOPE We will create and design a marketing headquarters office for Kellogg’s, number 237 on the 2020 Fortune 500 companies. Space planning will account for marketing presentations, employee training, conference spaces, work rooms, individual work stations, and collaborative spaces. The space shall be professional while including reflection of the company and it’s personal branding. The office will be located in Chicago, Illinois.

CLIENT PROFILE Kellogg’s is an American food manufacturing company. Founded by W.K. Kellogg over 100 years ago when he created Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, the first ever cereal and creating this blooming industry. Nutrition is the core for the business, including all of their cereals and other products their brand includes. Kellogg’s is a company highly based on the values. Through integrity, accountability, passion, humility, simplicity and a focus on success, they get the job done. Kellogg’s Vision: A good and just world where people are not just fed but fulfilled. Kellogg’s Purpose: Creating better days and a place at the table for everyone through our trusted food brands.
6
CONCEPTUALITY Our inspiration comes from looking at the studies of biomes. The two biomes we look at include the desert and the jungle. We use these to tie in company branding. Kellogg’s color palette includes shades of red, oranges, and yellows, which we will find in the dessert. A familiar tag to Kellogg’s are their cereal mascots, including Toucan Sam and Tony the Tiger, both animals that belong in the jungle.
7
COLOR PSYCHOLOGY Our selected color palette is inspired by the Kellogg’s branding, adjusting to tones to be deeper and muted to created a sophisticated feeling in the office.

BIOPHILIA “Interior design begins with human experience.” Biophilic design is when one includes plant life and other elements of nature into the space. The physical, mental, and emotional health is positively effected with inclusion of biophilic design. Studies have shown that the inclusion of biophilia in the workspace produce happier, and more productive employees with less stress. These facts lead to the earning of WELL credits. Biophilic design also can help in earning LEED credits. Plant life inside a building can serve as a natural insulator, acoustic boundary, and natural air filter. Inclusion of plant life will also support of concept of biomes in the spaces, looking into different plants we might see in the jungle and inspiration of finish selections. 15% INCREACSE IN WELL-BEING 6% INCRESE IN PRODUCTIVITY 15% INCREASE IN CREATIVE 67% INCREASE IN HAPPINESS REDUCES ANXIETY BY 37% REDUCES DEPRESSION BY 58% RECUDES FATIGUE BY 38%
