The inspiration comes from looking at the studies of biomes. The two biomes looked at include the desert and the jungle, using them to tie in company branding. Kellogg’s color palette includes shades of red, oranges, and yellows, which reflects the dessert. A familiar tag to Kellogg’s are their cereal mascots, including Toucan Sam and Tony the Tiger, both animals that belong in the jungle.

8

The selected color palette supports the concept and is inspired by Kellogg’s branding, adjusting the tones to be deeper and muted to created a sophisticated feeling in the office.

“Q6 is a comprehensive line which features all of the necessary components for a truly modern workplace with a beautiful and consistent design vocabulary. The Q6 collection of seating keeps the same silhouette of Q5 with options for benches with or without backs and additional privacy screens. Giving the option for privacy greatly increases the ability to utilize Q6 in new ways. Bench and ottoman units have added padding and a new seating suspension for even more comfort.” Davis Furniture

Triptych 1929 is made up of three separate panels. Painted from the talents of george keyt (Sri Lanka, 1901 - 1993). Keyt was originally from Sri Lanka. Attending Trinity COllege, his studies were eventually completed at home due to anti authoritarian behavior. He then discovered a passion for Literature, poetry, and photography. Fellow photographer, Lionel Wendt noticed Keyt’s skills and encourage he try furthering his arts. In 1927, Keyt devoted his work to art, including a period of painting. “This rare triptych work has an observational quality, the figures have a deep resonance in their emotions whilst conducting seemingly monotonous daily tasks. The subjects of these paintings were posed in an almost Hellenistic fashion - tall, voluptuous figures enrobed in fabric. Pensive seated figures nude or semi nude would be placed against a luscious and vibrant backdrops.”

The Doshi/O’Brien family has outgrown their kitchen and would like to expand. To do this, we remove the wall separating the kitchen and dining room, creating a seamless blend between the two spaces and allowing expansion of the kitchen cabinetry. This will also allow for an island to be added, providing more storage and counter space.
