Based on a 38% larger cell size, or 11 mm cell size (versus 8 mm for H8PP) and 10 mil wall thickness the new product is designed to offer competitive advantage to customers using low density PVC foams, or requiring lower weight and cost core. At 3.0 lb per ft3 (compare 5lb/ft3 for H8PP) it offers weight savings of almost 67% . Designed primarily for secondary composite structures (non-loadbearing) the new core is ideal for marine furniture and interior partitions as well a s numerous other transportation related composite parts.

Available with multitude of faceings (luan, fiberglass, HP laminates) H11PP offers a competitive solution even when compared to paper honeycomb.
Nida-Core Corp. announces a new lighter weight version of our popular H8PP polypropylene copolymer honeycomb:
NIDA-CORE H11PP
Containing no organic materials, and offering superior sound and vibration dampening qualities, Nida-Core plastic honeycombs in general offer better dimensional stability when compared to paper honeycombs as well as superior resistance to humidity and chemicals. Combined that with our barrier film/scrim cloth technology that provides 100% bonding surface, Nida-Core H11PP offers a competitive advantage.
