Based on a 38% larger cell size, or 11 mm cell size (versus 8 mm for H8PP) and 10 mil wall thickness the new product is designed to offer competitive advantage to customers using low density PVC foams, or requiring lower weight and cost core. At 3.0 lb per ft3 (compare 5lb/ft3 for H8PP) it offers weight savings of almost 67% . Designed primarily for secondary composite structures (non-loadbearing) the new core is ideal for marine furniture and interior partitions as well a s numerous other transportation related composite parts.

Available with multitude of faceings (luan, fiberglass, HP laminates) H11PP offers a competitive solution even when compared to paper honeycomb.
Nida-Core Corp. announces a new lighter weight version of our popular H8PP polypropylene copolymer honeycomb:
NIDA-CORE H11PP
Containing no organic materials, and offering superior sound and vibration dampening qualities, Nida-Core plastic honeycombs in general offer better dimensional stability when compared to paper honeycombs as well as superior resistance to humidity and chemicals. Combined that with our barrier film/scrim cloth technology that provides 100% bonding surface, Nida-Core H11PP offers a competitive advantage.

Mahogany Company of Mays Landing Inc. has been supplying quality fiberglass products to fabricators and manufacturers since the early 1950's, under the direct supervision of founders Maurice and Margaret Aaron. With the support of their son George and his wife Doris, Mahogany Company became a major player in a revolution that saw the strength and durability of fiberglass replace many existing construction materials. As a worldwide industry discovered even more uses for fiberglass, Mahogany Company broadened its customer base to include the Pultrusion, Transportation, Construction, Corrosion, Marine and Tub-shower Industries. Their powerful presence in the cast polymer and solid-surface market is, in itself, a classic success story. Then why is one of the nation's oldest independent fiberglass and resin distributors called Mahogany Company? More than 50 years ago, Mahogany Company was one of the largest and most respected suppliers of boat lumber, mainly cedar and mahogany, to the East Coast Boating Industry. The times do not stand still, however. In 1956 they converted their Mays Landing, New Jersey warehouse from lumber yard to drum storage facility to become a pioneer in fiberglass and resin distribution to the Composites Industry. The name, as they say, stayed the same. As did their dedication to product quality, availability and prompt delivery. Mahogany Co. can be reached at 800-253 1103.
