Web Output
Website was suppose to be an exploration according to the proposal I presented. But later, while I was working on the brochure, I was asked to work on few wireframes. The website had the fastest outcome, out of all the collaterals, considering it’s vast content. We outsourced the programmers, and we worked together to put a significant show. Initially the process started really slowwith the work flow, but after the wireframes were finalised everything finished up in approximately in a week. I made layouts for all the web pages and the developer worked with the open files to produce the replicas.

While working on a website, it’s really important to have few things in place. The work flow, site map and wireframes. Each step helps you know what sort of a web-site you are trying to build. When you think about the users and what information needs to be provided, you get a better knowledge of how the system should be mould. Not just the designer, it helps the developer as well. Luckily I knew a bit about web design because of my experience from the interaction design course. Initially I was thinking of something else, the wireframes were more dynamic but due to the time limit I had to limit the coloumn disturbances. We sat down with the developer and discussed the layouts and possibilty of finishing the programming in 3-4 days. Luckily even after the changes the website followed the language and blended in to a large extent.

Final Website
This outcome was also a part of the same concept, and had to carry the same language. The main challenge was to keep similarity in print and web. Both are really different mediums and have different flexibility level. In print I experimented with the layouts and grid, but within the time limit it was better to play safe. I took the keypoints of the print design and tried to reflect the language of the print design. The content was the same for the website, but the website was the most important collateral because it provided the applicants with forms and other updates. Our primary focus were forms and then brochure. We had to make sure that the viewer goes through the vital informaiton, and understands the keypoint.

Web Brochure
As I mentioned earlier brochure and forms were two really important parts of the whole information systems. We provided with all the informaiton in the website, but we wanted to be sure that people can take prints if they want to. So we decided to upload the brochure as well, but the print version was too heavy and lavish for something going onine. I decided to reduce the number of pages to make it more economic for the viewer for printing and reduced pictures and made it more information centric. At last we successfully uploaded a brogure of 30 pages, which had lesser than half number of pages. And the web version retained it’s language also, as it was really similar typographically. Following are the few snapshots from the web.

Outro
This collateral was produced at the last minute, within a night. We had a debate about uploading the print version itself, but all of us realized that it would be better to work on an alternative. This alternate option turned out to be perfect at that given time for the solution. It costs less to print, gives the basic knowledge and follows the language. It ended up being an important part of the family, as this brochure was exposed to the maximum number of audience.
