Even more magical (extraordinarily comforting) is the peace we are offered when we choose to submit our hearts to God and trust that through Jesus all our needs will be fulfilled. Peace in knowing He is for us always. Peace in knowing that the blood of Christ has washed us clean and created space for us to stand before our Supernatural Omnipotent God with clean hearts.
As you enjoy your Something Magical Date Night In, use this guide to relate the discussion to living out your faith. While many hear the word magic and immediately think of trickery or illusion, when the word is viewed from a Christian perspective it is better understood as something supernatural, or something beyond that which the finite human mind can comprehend. Additionally, Merriam- Webster offers a definition of the word magical as something that is extraordinarily pleasant or wonderful. Your relationship with God, and your relationship with each other certainly could fit such a description.

Has there ever been a time when something you deemed as a lost cause suddenly turned around for the good? Have you ever hoped for something so badly but never saw it come to fruition? Did this make you doubt the supernatural power of God, or maybe doubt His love for you?
Perhaps the most supernatural, or magical thing of all, is faith: believing in that which we cannot see. Trusting that our Creator has all things planned for His glory and our good when we choose to seek His will for our lives.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. Colossians 1:16

A Prayer for You to Say Together
Heavenly Father, We thank You for your mercy and grace. We confess that we often fail to see the magical ways in which you work in our lives. We confess that we often doubt your supernatural power, that is ours through the Holy Spirit. Help us to pray and seek you with our whole hearts. Help us to see You in the mystery of this vast universe and to remember that of all that was created, we are most precious to you. Thank you for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ your Son. It is in His Powerful Name that we pray.
Amen
