Miami Ad School was birthed in 1993 and has constantly evolved since. The new location is a creative playground for the mind. It took two years to transform two dilapidated warehouses on the upper west side of Wynwood into a state of the art training center.
Ron and Pippa Seichrist, founders of Miami Ad School, are artists, sculptors, photographers, and furniture makers. They incorporated these interests in every space of the school‘s new campus.
Weekly guest speakers and professionals share their industry experience here. With such a diverse group of experts, students get advice and learn all aspects of the business from the people who shape it.
The school offers workshops, courses for Portfolio development, 12-week Boot Camps, and a Master’s degree program.
The classrooms are something out of the ordinary. Endowed with everything from chalkboard walls and award-winning student work, to state of the art technology and equipment. They are the perfect place to cultivate talent, and inspire all of that outside-the-box thinking.
We are dog lovers here. As we are fans of the unconventional.
Local and internationally known artists have created murals and art pieces that add to the spirit and creative energy of the school.
The atmosphere though a little kooky, is justified considering how important one’s environment can be for inspiring creativity.
At Miami Ad School, picnic tables, restrooms, and soccer fields double as brainstorming and concepting areas. At every moment one is constantly reminded of how hard work goes hand in hand with play.
