NSPCC EVERY CHILDHOOD IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR
This Christmas, make a donation this Christmas to help the NSPCC keep children safe. With your support, children can escape and recover from abuse, and learn to feel safe once more. Childhood shapes who we become, abuse never should. The NSPCC are here to listen, help, and take immediate steps to protect any child in danger of abuse. Support the NSPCC, and fight for every childhood.

We’re here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support to help them get the most from the time they have left. Our nurses work night and day, in people’s homes across the UK, providing hands on care and vital emotional support. Our hospices offer specialist round-the-clock care. And we support people throughout their illness by giving practical information, support from trained volunteers and being there when someone wants to talk.

“There’s a real sense that we can make a difference and that curing heart failure is achievable Dr Nicola Smart. British Heart Foundation funded research fellow
There are over half a million people living with heart failure in the UK today, and for many it causes frightening and prolonged suffering. They can face a long and difficult battle that is deeply distressing for families who watch helplessly as their loved ones struggle to breathe and look after themselves. For patients diagnosed with severe heart failure, the chances of surviving for more than five years are worse than most forms of cancer. But now our Mending Broken Hearts Appeal is giving those with heart failure and their familes hope for a cure by funding a groundbreaking research programme that aims to repair heart muscle damaged by a heart attack. We urgently need to raise the funds to continue our vital research. Only with your help can we hope to make medical history and bring an end to this suffering.
