Hell Deep in the Soul
Published twice for a prison, mainly segregation abolishment movement. My writings led to the law changing, and my 2 year suffering in isolation was finally recognized as torture and not punishment. I have recently attempted to enter poetry contest on submittable. These poems are the deep, dark feelings of my life in prison. Currently I'm working on writing happier and more positive poetry but have been struggling. Isn't it wierd how happiness is so alien to my life. Hopefully I'll get used to it and be able to write good, true feelings about my great life I love today.
