Every client has a unique story. We use the language of design to tell it. Staffan Tollgard Design Group offers an award-winning architectural interior design service for an international clientele. Rated as House and Garden’s top 100 designers, Staffan Tollgard Design Group has become known for its modern, bold take on sophisticated interiors. The group’s work is featured in Volume 16 of Andrew Martin’s prestigious Interior Design Review and Staffan is a full member of BIID, the British Institute of Interior Design. Recent awards include best interior design for a private residence in Portugal at the European Property Awards. Staffan Tollgard interiors are exacting; understated; elegant. They bring together the best of contemporary design through a sophisticated and thoughtful layering of furniture, art, accessories, materials and colours. Staffan uses the Swedish expression of the ‘red thread’ to explain the design narrative that underpins every project. The thread is the guiding principle of creative endeavour and what makes the group’s work feel so coherent. An architectural detail, a family heirloom, or a collection of art; each project has a unique red thread that tells the client’s story using the language of design. STDG has completed over a hundred high-end residential projects, each an innovative, creative solution to a client’s brief, each different in scale and style. We work collaboratively on a wide range of residential, high-end projects, from complete new builds to refurbishments. Our commercial design department offers a full design service and concept consultancy for projects ranging from hotels, restaurants and retail spaces to offices and property developments, in UK and Europe.
