Cocoon Pendant Light The Cocoon is an open structure pendant consisting of eight beautifully laminated timber leaves. The expressive form gives view to a warm globe that graduates ambient light onto the inner veneers of the structure revealing a magnificent contrast between the inner and outer surfaces. Designed with sustainability in mind, the pendant lights have been manufactured from thin, ultra durable timber laminations which minimises the ecological footprint whilst creating an uncompromising elegance. It is constructed from flat packable leaves and can be quickly assembled using the small fittings provided. Height 90 Height 120

Nest Coffee Table
Nest Coffee Table Designed by 2009 Young Furniture Designer of the Year and launched by MacMaster during the Autumnal London Design week the Nest utilises solid timber sticks to produce an intricate and engaging form. The structure is built randomly from multiple lengths of solid timber (without a template) and is fixed rigid to support a toughened glass surface. The Nest Coffee Table is handmade to order in MacMaster's Worcestershire workshop and is available in a variety of timbers. Due to the hands-on approach of its manufacture, the dimensions of the Nest Table can be altered to suit bespoke requirements Height 30

Expose Coffee Table The Expose coffee table consists of complex laminations of birch ply and wood veneer which interlock at angles to form a three-point leg structure that supports a toughened glass top. The birch ply is left exposed on the edges forming a pleasing contrast with the surface veneer and ensuring that the design remains true to its materials. Bespoke finishes can be specified. The Expose Coffee Table was commissioned by global brand experience agency ‘Jack Morton’ and subsequently featured on the Canadian Winter Olympic Studio as the centre-piece of the set design Height 35

Cocoon Floor Light The Cocoon floor light has been carefully developed to address those hard to illuminate hallways, corners and seated areas. The large energy-saving globe lights-up the inner leaves creating an ambient glow that transforms these dimly lit spaces into incredibly satisfying living quarters.
Made from eight beautifully laminated timber veneers, the Cocoon is handproduced to order from MacMaster’s Worcestershire Workshop. Height 142

Bloom Pendant Light
Bloom Pendant Light The Bloom pendant light is made from 100% FSC certified Birch Plywood and is available in natural Birch, and range of stained colours. The curved form that is a signature aesthetic of MacMaster is created without the use of laminations but is formed from flat sheets that neatly slot into two columns, thus creating the curvaceous form. The light radiates through and along the thin leaves creating a graduated display of luminescence and colour. Height 22 Height 29

Iris Pendant Light The Iris inspired leaves are elegantly curved at three sets of angles and distanced to produce a perfectly proportioned pendant feature. The ambient light casts pleasing shadows and glows warmly against the sets of leaves giving them definition and character. The pendant lights are aesthetically elegant when suspended individually and are especially attractive when displayed in groups within larger interior spaces. Iris Floor Light
Iris Floor Light One of the founding designs of the MacMaster range, the Iris Floor Lamp consists of curved laminations of timber that echo the shape of Iris leaves to create a sculptural, unique and impacting form. The arrangement of leaves give the lamp a structured yet organic form that allows light to graduate upwards on the interior of the lamp. An energy saving light bulb is utilised for a warm ambient light that casts subtle shadows onto adjacent walls, thereby extending the visual depth of the design . Height 195

Nest Dining Table The Nest Dining table makes a stunning reception table or centre-piece to an open space. However, honouring its most common utility it can accommodate six to eight diners around its generous proportions. The graduated layering of the timbers (shown in the side view) allows the all important knee space when used as a dining table. This curved form adds a dynamic depth of aesthetic, with the straight lines interacting with the curved form. Lit from above, the table comes alive with shadow play. Height 75

Nest Mirror The curvaceous form of the Nest Mirror borrows inspiration from both the Nest and Iris ranges. The intercepting and interlocking sticks create a woven, three dimensional structure that is unique amongst contemporary mirror designs. Whilst the sections of timber are three-dimensional the mirror’s profile remains close to the wall making it well suited for use in narrow hall ways as well as open spaces. The Nest Mirror is available in Oak, Walnut, Maple and Cherry. It is handmade to order in MacMaster’s Worcestershire workshop. Diameter 90

Cocoon Pendant - small
Small Cocoon Pendant Light The smallest version of the Cocoon pendant light works especially well when suspended in clusters or a row formation. The slightly broader leaves create a diffused light which satisfies the demands of diners and customers in the Bar and Hospitality industry. The small Cocoon is also suitable for domestic use and sits elegantly above a dining table or workspace. Hand-made to order in MacMaster’s Worcestershire workshop, the lightweight and elegant pendant is laminated from FSC approved solid timber veneers. Height 45
