A little hand-made gift for the both of you: The 5-minute Chocolate Cake

Even if you've never cooked before, you can bake this for a romantic têteà-tête.

This amazingly simple chocolate cake needs no fancy machines, mixers, or beaters. Just grab a spoon and a bowl, and you're set to go. All in all you'll need around 3 minutes to mix the ingredients, and a couple more to assemble.

Beat well, with a big spoon, for about 3 minutes.

Combine the other ingredients in a bowl, minus the flour. Stir well.

Add the molten chocolate & butter and the flour.

Line a cake pan with greaseproof or other non-stick paper and cook in a moderate oven for about 15/18 minutes, depending on the consistency you prefer.

The surface might have a few cracks and craters on the top, but if you wish, you can cover them under a layer of chocolate icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
