Camp Invention is a nationally-acclaimed summer enrichment experience led by local certified educators. Each day, campers work in teams as they rotate between four fun thematic modules. Your child will explore the dynamic realm of the five senses on a bionic adventure, create morphing vehicles that operate on land, in the air and underwater, build an epic, insect-themed pinball machine , and invent and tinker with circuits and design solutions to nature-based challenges. Young Rembrandts: African Safari Camp (Ages 6-12)

Go on a Safari adventure with Young Rembrandts this summer! In this full-day, week-long camp, explore the exciting land and many animals that inhabit Africa. We will draw a variety of animals in various scenes with different media. Explore the African Safari through the fun technique of cartoon, and challenge our artistic talents by creating two large scenes. Projects, games, and crafts will round out the days. Our exploration through Africa allows for a bounty of adventure and creativity. All materials are provided. Students should bring a snack, lunch and water bottle. Fencing Camp: Renaissance Adventure (Ages 6+) 260090
Learn the fundamentals of foil fencing, including footwork, blade work and bouting. The Jedi have found a disturbance in the force, generated by the dark side. San Antonio Fencing Center calls upon all young Padawan to complete their Jedi training. Enjoy a great week exploring the world of glass mosaics and fusing. at Stained Glass Crafters Workbench. During this four-day camp, students create a frit fused plate, which can be framed and hung on any wall; enough puddle pendants for all the family members and the BFFs; two micro-mosaic pendants; and a jeweled mosaic shoe great for holding a cell phone while charging. On the last day of class, students graduate with a Glass Achievement Certificate and pizza party. A supply fee of $65 is payable to the studio in class and includes the pizza party. In this hands-on camp, students will learn the basics of cooking, including kitchen and food safety, the importance of measuring properly, and how to follow a recipe. Cake Decorating Cupcakes for Kids: Cupcake Art (Ages 7+)

Kids will learn to embellish cupcakes with edible icing sheets and cut, punch, stamp and emboss 2D and 3D delicious, colorful decorations. Family Endeavors’ Summer Day Camp June 9 – August 15, 2014 (7 a.m. - 6 p.m.) Wanke Elementary (10419 Old Prue Rd.
