message from the editor Hello springtime, sunshine and good times. As we go into our final edition for this winter, we are preparing for a magnificent March and we welcome you along for the ride. As with every season here in Niseko, this is another season to remember with many new happenings, shops restaurants and activities to experience! With more blue sky days than usual in February, we had magnificent views of Mt Youtei to the ocean, out the gates provided some all-time photo days, big turns and lots of pow for those who hiked a little! Inside this month, we catch up with Ben and follow him on an amazing spring and backcountry hiking day just outside of Niseko, Sven gives us the low down on telemark skiing and Joel is back to advise us on our next helmet purchase. We are also lucky enough to be joined by Takachi Takada who teaches us how to cook his famous Rusutsu Pork dish. We check out an array of little restaurants just outside of Hirafu and we venture into the wild for a moonlight snowshoeing adventure with Will.
