ENERGY TRANSFER AND SUNOCO ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PERMIAN BASIN CRUDE OIL JOINT VENTURE

Energy Transfer LP and Sunoco LP have announced the formation of a joint venture combining their respective crude oil and produced water gathering assets in the Permian Basin.

Energy Transfer will act as the operator of the joint venture and will contribute its Permian crude oil and produced water gathering assets and operations. Sunoco will contribute all its Permian crude oil gathering assets and operations to the joint venture. Notably, Energy Transfer’s long-haul crude pipeline network, which transports crude oil out of the Permian Basin to Nederland, Houston, and Cushing, is excluded from the joint venture.

The joint venture will operate over 5,000 miles of crude oil and water gathering pipelines and will have a crude oil storage capacity exceeding 11 million barrels.

Energy Transfer will hold a 67.5 percent interest in the joint venture, while Sunoco will hold the remaining 32.5 percent interest.

The formation of the joint venture has an effective date of July 1, 2024, and is expected to be immediately accretive to distributable cash flow per LP unit for both Energy Transfer and Sunoco.

H2O Midstream and EIV Capital Announce Sale To Delek Logistics

H2O Midstream, LLC and EIV Capital, LLC have announced the execution of definitive agreements for the sale of H2O Midstream to Delek Logistics Partners, LP. H2O Midstream, based in Howard County, Texas, specializes in gathering, transportation, recycling, storage, and disposal solutions for produced water.

Jim Summers, co-founder and CEO of H2O Midstream, remarked, “The acquisition of H2O Midstream by Delek Logistics creates a fully integrated multi-commodity midstream platform in the Midland Basin and represents the realization of our vision that produced water can be managed as a true midstream business. H2O Midstream and EIV Capital partnered in 2016 to explore produced water midstream opportunities in the Permian Basin. Through greenfield development, organic growth, and strategic acquisitions, H2O Midstream built a comprehensive system comprising over 250 miles of buried pipeline, approximately 4 million barrels of owned and third-party storage, and access to over 900,000 barrels per day of owned and third-party

disposal capacity across a 400 square mile footprint.

ONEOK Announces Refined Products Pipeline Expansion to The Greater Denver Area

ONEOK, Inc. announced plans to expand its pipeline capacity to connect Mid-Continent and Gulf Coast refined products supply with the greater Denver area, addressing the growing demand and enhancing connectivity with Denver International Airport.

The project included constructing a new 230-mile, 16-inch diameter pipeline from Scott City, Kansas, to DIA, and upgrading certain pump stations along the existing refined products pipeline system. The total system capacity was set to increase by 35,000 barrels per day with additional expansion capabilities. The project, estimated to cost approximately $480 million, was expected to be completed by mid-2026.

Following the close of an open season earlier this year, the project was fully subscribed under long-term contracts.

Pierce H. This project will provide additional needed capacity for various transportation fuels, including aviation and sustainable aviation fuel, to support increasing demand from the expansion of Denver International Airport.”

Also addressed is the knowledge you need to know about keeping tank personnel safe.

Tanks 101 will also provide an overview of all the important tanks standards such as API 2610, API 2350, API 653. It will mention API 650 and API 620 but these will be covered in more detail in the Afternoon Segment. In order to provide sufficient background to prepare for Tanks 102, we provide the basic principles of floating roofs, foundations, fixed roofs, when and how to use of release prevention barriers, hydrostatic tests, materials of construction, and many other issues associated with existing tanks.

Having designed and built a good tank the next problem is to ensure it remains safe and leak free. The focus is on the well-known tank inspection standard, API 653. The rules of API 653 will be covered and the contents of API 653, and API 575 will be explained in detail as time permits. We cover some of the various damage mechanisms such as brittle fracture, excess internal and external pressure, settlement, repairs and more.

Savannah-Based Colonial Group Announces Executive Leadership Promotions

Colonial Group, Inc., a Savannahbased diversified family of companies, has announced two key promotions within its executive leadership team. Bob Kenyon has been promoted to chief operations officer of Colonial Group, Inc., while continuing in his role as president of Colonial Oil Industries, Inc. Ryan Chandler has been promoted to chief commercial officer of Colonial Group, Inc., while maintaining his position as president of Colonial Terminals, Inc.

“All the companies within the Colonial family have experienced tremendous growth and change over the past several years,” said Christian Demere, president and CEO of Colonial Group. “While I am proud of the progress each company has made, I believe there is even more potential to unlock by better leveraging our synergies and strengths across the entire organization. family culture. Expanding Ryan’s and Bob’s scope across the company will help us achieve our full potential and become the best in every industry we serve.”

The Colonial family of companies operates across multiple industries, offering products and services that include energy and chemical marketing and distribution, materials storage and handling, and retail convenience stores.

In their new roles, Kenyon and Chandler will broaden their involvement across the organization in operational and commercial strategy and standards, uniting all Colonial business units under a new “One Colonial” approach.

Kenyon brings nearly 30 years of experience in fuel operations. Before joining Colonial in 2022, he served as senior vice president of sales and

marketing for Renewable Energy Group, Inc. He is also the former president of Atlas Oil Company, where he led the company’s nationwide sales, marketing, supply, operations, and administrative resources spanning 20 terminals and more than 900 employees. Kenyon holds a B.B.A. in business management from Eastern Michigan University and has completed advanced executive education studies at the University of Michigan.

Chandler joined Colonial Group, Inc., as vice president of business development in 2011 and became president of Colonial Terminals, Inc., in 2020. Earlier in his career, he practiced commercial law and later served as vice president of operations at TICO/Terminal Services, a Savannah-based, family-owned terminal equipment manufacturing and outsourcing company, where he worked for eight years. Chandler holds several degrees from the University of Florida: a B.A. in finance, a J.D. from the Fredric G. Levin College of Law, and an MBA from the Warrington College of Business.

These promotions are part of Colonial Group’s strategy to leverage synergies across its diverse businesses and strengthen its organizational culture, driving the company towards becoming an industry leader in every sector it serves.
