SPACI THINK In this project I explored an architectural project and its spacial qualities through digital modeling, & digital imaging. Using Rhino & Revit as computer programs I understood the progression building as the whole mass & fabricated its essential structural components in detail with digital modeling. I used digital imaging to capture the moments in building, how this pavilion is about ease of access between two separated sites. The 3D Section cut & Axonometric diagram were helpful to understand that meanwhile it is providing moments of glance to capture beauty of surrounding nature, as a pavilion the interior space is for exhibiting art work.

(34to37) Examining different configurations for space organization on each site. Try to find the best space organization according to the sites. The main purpose in designing the pavilion is to use the best features of the sites based on the site visits & analysis of each site. Hence the two sites 1&2 are chosen for this project. Peters Hill has beautiful views on site 2 & 3 and site 1 is relaxing 35 and quiet. My investigation began with identifying how to engage potential views that user may experience while walking through the pavilion. (43-44)I chose a linear space organization entering from site2 & exiting on site1.

Exploring the Sequence of screen captures from Rhino-to-Revit process :

Exploded Axonometric View of Pavilion

The first challenge was bringing the building mass from Rhino to Revit but given the simple structure and ease of development in Revit most parts were completed in Revit by Re-drawing the components.

The bigger challenge was then trying to figure an accurate Ground level based on topographic map. The process was interchangeably involved Autocad as well, in order to create desired layers of lines representing the ground level change. And using that in Revit for creating the site mass.
