New Science Facility NJCU has begun work on a $32million expansion of its Science Building. The 22,000 -square-foot addition will house state-of-the art laboratories and equipment for the growing biology, chemistry, physics, and geoscience programs.

Opportunities NJCU prepares students for lifelong career opportunities. Undergraduate courses are designed to shape students’ leadership and critical thinking skills while expanding their understanding of the dynamics of today’s business environment. NJCU’s Student Investment Management (SIM) group, an award-winning campus organization that gives students handson experience in stock trading, has won several awards for its ability to outperform he S&P. SIM has also been selected to ring the closing bell at NASDAQ’s MarketSite in New York City’s Times Square. NJCU professors share a passion for their work. Downtown Jersey City Downtown Jersey City is home to “Wall Street West,” a booming financial district that the NJCU School of Business will call home beginning in fall 2015. Living on Campus Students live on campus in three residence halls and enjoy the opportunity to experience campus life, meet new people, and learn in a multicultural environment outside of the classroom. The residence halls are conveniently located near classes, the library, the athletics and fitness center, and campus events. Housing is available for all interested students. All residence halls have University staff on-site at all times and all have 24-hour security, laundry and kitchen facilities, study lounges, computer labs, and wifi. Meal plans are provided and residents participate in a variety of educational, community service, and recreational programs coordinated by the Residence Life Program. 15
