Widnelia M. Avila was born in Puerto Rico and she came to the United States at the age of 13. She graduated in 2018 from Hudson County Community College, where she received an associate's degree in Arts. Widnelia is currently enrolled in Spanish and Early Childhood Education at New Jersey City University and she plans to obtain a P-3 Certification.
