Eachyearweofferapproximately40places forpupilstojoinourReceptionclassand between8and10placesforentryto Year3.Weattractalltypesofpersonality, andthereisnotypicalNorthLondoner. AneducationatNLCSaimstoenableeach childtomakethemostoftheiruniquegifts. Ourteachersarehighlyqualifiedand introducepupilstotheirsubjectswith passionandinspiration.Alongsideacademic learning,ourpupilsdiscoverwaysinwhich theirwholepersonalitycandevelopand grow,andweencouragethemtoexperiment andtryoutdifferentversionsofthemselves.

Theassessmentlastsforapproximatelyone hourandthegirlstakepartinanumberof activitiesthataredesignedtoassesstheir readinessforschool.Therearebetween8-12 childrenineachgroupandtheactivitieswill involvetaskssuchascolouring,cuttingand sticking.Girlsneedtodemonstrateanability tolistenandfollowinstructions,bothontheir ownoraspartofagroup.
