Welcome to our Term 2 newsletter. We have had a wonderful and extremely busy term in Noro House with many successes to celebrate. Some of the memorable moments for this term include the incredible effort in the Girls House Swimming, the House Drama Showcase and House Dance. I have also witnessed an incredible sense of unity and determination throughout all of the House Competitions I feel privileged and proud to be your Head of House.
This term has also seen some outstanding academic achievements both in school and through external competitions. Many of our students have represented the school through KISAC and Fobisia tournaments and should be extremely proud of themselves. Term 2 has also seen an increase in student leadership opportunities through assemblies and team building games which we look forward to building on in Term 3.

Term 2 was a busy one for Noro, and the students opened up with strong performances in House Competitions for Quick Cricket, Rounders, and Basketball. This semester, some subjects used Enrichment weeks to enhance the variety of the House Competition, which allowed some students to really showcase their talents in specific subjects such as Geography and Drama One particular moment that all Noro students should be proud of was the winning of the Cross Country Token Race, where all students came out and completed the most laps of any house. As the Academic year comes to an end, I look forward to the transition of captaincy from Year 11 to Year 10, and we wish all the best of luck to all students for their final exams.

Over the past two terms our 22/23 House Leaders have led Noro to many successes and have continued to enhance and build the house spirit. Although the House Competition results have not always been in our favour, the determination and passion of each member of Noro house has not wavered, if anything, it has grown stronger.
Some of the notable successes from the beginning of the term include winning the House Badminton, Quick Cricket and Capture the Flag. Since then, Noro have achieved many podium finishes in events across the arts and sports.
A special thanks goes to our 22/23 House Captains, Terry and Soomin, our Sports Captains, Sunwoo and Kyran, and our Arts Captains, Georgina and Nancy.
We hope to experience more successes under your leadership over the next months through the transition process to our 23/24 house leaders We also wish you the best of luck with your upcoming iGCSE examinations.
