39th EPSA Annual Congress
NEXT STOP
O maior e mais importante evento da EPSA, o Annual Congress, teve a sua 39aedição nos passados dias 18 a 24 de Abril, em Helsínquia, Finlândia. Durante os primeiros dois dias decorreu o simpósio educacional subordinado ao tema “Drug therapy for special patient groups”. O programa educacional foi ainda completado por sessões educacionais assentes em quatro pilares diferentes: Extend your Knowledge, EPSA Activities and Opportunities, Develop your Soft Skills e From Students to Students. Estas sessões foram organizadas para que cada participante pudesse criar o seu programa educacional personalizado, proporcionando-lhe os mais diversos workshops, atividades, projetos e trainigs. Sem dúvida que este evento da EPSA é uma excelente oportunidade para desenvolver as capacidades pessoais, arrecadar novos conhecimentos na área da saúde e também para conhecer outras culturas europeias, através da partilha de experiências únicas. The biggest and also the most important event in EPSA’s calendar, the Annual Congress, had its 39th edition in the past days 18 to 24th of April in Helsinki, Finland. In the first two days, took place the educational symposium, with the topic “Drug therapy for special patient groups. There were also educational sessions, arranged into four distinct pillars: Extend your Knowledge, EPSA Activities and Opportunities, Develop your Soft Skills and From Students to Students. Thanks to these sessions, each participant was able to create his/her personal educational programme, choosing from a variety of workshops, activities, projects and trainings. Definitely, this ESPA event is a great opportunity to develop personal abilities, collect more knowledge about the health sector and also to get in touch with other European cultures, by sharing unique experiences.
62ND IPSF WORLD CONGRESS O 62nd IPSF World Congress vai-se realizar em Harare, Zimbabué, de 29 de julho a 8 de agosto e é uma excelente oportunidade de contactar com outras culturas e com estudantes de farmácia de todo o mundo! IPSF—Cardio Competition Sabias que…? A I Campanha de Saúde Pública organizada pela AEFFUL, dedicada ao controlo e prevenção da Diabetes e Doenças Cardiovasculares, foi um desafio lançando pela IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation) e para a comemoração do World Health Day. O desafio consistia em realizar o máximo de rastreios possíveis, ao mesmo tempo que se sensibilizava e se avaliava o estado de saúde da população. E este dia, 7 de abril, constitui um marco mundial para travar o aumento do número deste tipo de pacientes. Ao todo, mais de 1500 pessoas foram abordadas e cerca de 900 foram rastreadas. Sendo que estas campanhas são bastante úteis, não só para a monitorização de doenças, como também para a aprendizagem e desenvolvimento dos participantes. E nesse aspecto, a tua AEFFUL continuará a trazer-te mais desafios como este. Missão cumprida! Fica atento à próxima!

Did you know ...? The I Public Health Campaign organized by AEFFUL, dedicated to the control and prevention of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseases, was a challenge launching by the IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation) and to celebrate the World Health Day. The aim of this challenge was to achieve maximum screening possible, while warning and evaluating the population’ health status. And this day, April 7th, is a global framework to lock the number of such patients increase. More than 1500 people were reached and about 900 were screened. However, these campaigns are very useful, not only for the control of diseases, but also for students’ learning and development. And the good thing is that your AEFFUL will continue to bring you more challenges like this. Mission Accomplished! Stay alert for the next one!
