START LINE Start Line located on GSU Campus Corner of Piedmont Ave & Gilmer St. Parking available at the M Deck
Festivities Begin, 6:00am Line up on Piedmont Ave., 7:30am Kick-Off Presentation, 7:40am Ride Start, 8:00am Lunch, 10:30am-2:00pm FINISH/OVERNIGHT Route Closes at 6:00pm Finish Line located in Downtown Athens, GA Intersection of College Ave & Washington St.
Acts Include: Emmy Nominated Singer/Songwriter, Bobby Don Bloodworth Prolific Athens folk/songwriter Nathan Sheppard & renowned musician John Kean, who has produced for legendary groups such as R.E.M., the Indigo Girls and Widespread Panic
PLEASE NOTE: Cyclists will NOT be allowed to start the Bike Ride after 8:15am either day or continue on the course after 6:00 pm Saturday or 5:00 pm Sunday. Cyclists beginning after 8:15am will be SAGed to the first open break point to start the ride. Cyclists on the route after the course has been closed will be SAGed to the finishline. These rules will be strictly enforced to assure the safety of the riders and our volunteers. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Schedule of Events is subject to change.
