Activities for the whole summer at SuperCorner Tahko

Summer rain won’t be an issue, when the whole family can spend a fun day in Tahko’s SuperCorner activity park enjoying several activities. For daredevils who love jumping and high places, there is a Freestyle Hall, where you can jump on giant trampolines or in the foam rubber ocean and make tricks on the Air Track and trapeze.
ON THE Game Arena, you can test your skills in using a hockey stick or challenge your family in many different games. Daredevils will find adrenaline rush on the Adventure section with slides, a pedal car track and a jungle gym.
Three Super Camps will be organized in the activity park in June. Part-time participation is also possible in the four-day camps. There are several camp group leaders and a different theme every day. One day might have a focus on ballgames and another one on acrobatics or practicing different kinds of front flips.
‒ This time we have organized accommodation for the camp participants, so it is possible to attend the camp even if you live a bit further way. Kids with traveling families can also join the camp for one day. The program is quite sporty, so when the weather allows, we’ll spend time outside and go swimming, says SuperCorner Tahko’s entrepreneur Kari Ikonen.
THE DAY Camp lasts from 9am to 4pm and the parents take care of bringing and picking up the kids. With kids staying overnight, the camp group leaders are in charge of the meals, putting the kids to bed and organizing program for mornings and evenings.
– Familiar camp group leaders from the day activities are there during the evening and night as well. If a kid stays overnight, it’s good to have a phone with them so we can be in contact if needed, Ikonen continues.
The newest addition to the Tahko area’s summer is the PumpTrack. If needed, you can rent a kick scooter or a skateboard and a helmet.
‒ Older visitors have tested the track as well and the feedback has been positive, Ikonen adds.
SuperNight for 7‒12-year-old kids is organized on the last weekend of July. The kids will spend the whole night in SuperCorner enjoying the program with accommodation. Sign-up to SuperNight can be done via email.
‒ SuperNight begins on Saturday at 6 pm and finishes on Sunday at 10am. There is program after midnight as well. The kids can then jump and run all evening and spend time with friends. In addition, we have surprises during the evening. Kids can choose to spend the night in the activity park, on the trampoline, on the gymnastics floor or in the climbing block, Ikonen describes.
During Tahko events, there is some additional program in the activity park as well. Competition times have been noted in the opening hours. For instance, during the MTB event, the Kid Park opens at 8.30 and during the Fin5 week, the park closes later than normally.
THE KID Park for school-age children is open daily between 11am and 5pm in July. You can acquire for a babysitter for younger kids as well. Children will spend time with friends and camp group leaders doing activities while the parents take part in other Tahko events or for instance go golfing.
THERE WILL be three Park Adventure days during the summer. In addition to the park’s traditional activities, you can try rappelling or trapeze jumps, instructed by professionals. The kids’ own SparkleNight has gained popularity with its music, sparkle, colorful lights and face painting.

Opening hours: Before midsummer the park is open from Tuesday to Saturday and after midsummer every day until the school begins.
