A Note From Your Incoming President Hello Key Clubbers! As you know, the summer is ending soon and we will be returning to school within a month. Remember, it is never too late to earn more hours for the upcoming year! Our first Key Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16, so we hope to see you all there! - Adam Newton

Concerts on the Green

Key Clubbers Ben Tran and Marco Cheng organize merchandise

Issaquah High Key Clubbers and those from all around Division 28 converged at the Issaquah Community Center every Tuesday night throughout July to assist in operating the Kiwanis concessions stand. This involved restocking food, serving ice cream, and putting away merchandise after the event was over. Even though summer was in session, the Key Clubbers of Division 28 persevered altruistically throughout the month to cater to the people and support the Kiwanis members each night. Page 3


Seattle Rally This month also witnessed the annual Seattle Rally at Auburn Mountainview High School. Key Clubbers from all around the Pacific North West gathered there to attend listen to guest speakers, meet up with old friends made at past key club events, and attend a variety of workshops. These workshops included, but were not limited to, the “Thailand Freedom Project”, “You TOUCAN BEE Less Awkward”, and “How to get a Date”.

July DCM

Key Clubbers from all around Division 28 gathered at the Downtown Park of Bellevue on July 29th to watch a showing of the Lego Movie. Prior the movie showing, the Key Clubbers discussed underwent Icebreakers which included citing not only there name, but their favorite plant. Future events such as the upcoming Seattle Rally, and August DCM were also discussed.

donated canned food and other goods to Bellevue Lifespring, an organization which works to sponsor self sufficiency and stability for families. Page 5
