NNR (Nonthaburi Neighborhood Reach) is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to serving the Nonthaburi community and supporting local charities since 1994. We achieve this by publishing Thani Talk, a free monthly magazine that has a distribution of 1,400 copies, as well as by hosting the NNR Annual Charity Bazaar. Additionally, NNR hosts socials and organizes monthly tours. There are no membership dues, and anyone living in Nonthaburi is already a member.

Letter from NNR’s Chairperson

NNR: Making the World a Better Place "Well, we did it! Another wonderful community-enriching Bazaar, which raised fantastic funding for our nine charities. THANK YOU, one and all, for being a part of making it the success it was! This community never fails to make the heart glow, with its generosity and participation. Never stop marveling at the great things which can be achieved when we work together. We see, all the time, how each and every one of us have a part to play in making life better for those in need, for our climate, for our wildlife, for our environment. I encourage you to carry this knowledge with you, tell your children, and BE a conscious part in making our world a better place. Enjoy the Holidays, and know YOU have been a part of something wonderful :) Sally Elliott, NNR Chairperson

Working Together to Help Others In addition to raising money for charities in our own neighborhood, Nonthaburi Neighborhood Reach (NNR) also works closely with other groups to coordinate assistance for those in need. Case in point is NNR’s cooperation with “Dress a Girl Around the World” — an international group of volunteers who sew colorful dresses for donation to children all over the world. The Portugese chapter

reached out to NNR, and we were more than happy to help deliver the dresses to girls in our community. NNR also applauds the work of neighbors who spearhead projects to help people throughout Thailand. LifeForce Gym and Chaengwattana Community Church both actively raise funds for children in northern Thailand. Read about their wonderful work.

Dress A Girl Around the World - Portugal Chapter NNR Distributes Dresses Made to Help Locals in Nonthaburi

In April of this year, we were contacted by Juliana Magalha, who had ties to the Nichada community and worked with NNR some years ago. She now lives in Lisbon, Portugal, and is involved with a social project called “Dress A Girl Around the World - Portugal.” Together they arranged for 150 dresses of all sizes to be brought to Nichada and donated them to the NNR. Our Charity Coordinators had their work cut out for them distributing the beautiful creations, made with so much love for the many charities supported by NNR. The dresses truly brought so much joy and so many smiles to children's faces. The various styles were handed out to women and children from Sparrow Home, Home for Hope, the Cambodian refugees at Home for the Destitute, 1 Step 2 Step, CCD, Sparrow Home, and to some of our local 12

refugee families. Dress a Girl Around the World coordinates the making of dresses worldwide. In addition to the Portugese chapter, the group has chapters in the United States, Canada, Uganda, the UK, Philippines, Australia, Sweden, Costa Rica, South Africa, Germany, Norway, Okinawa, Japan, and Hong Kong. Volunteers have delivered over one million dresses to eighty-one countries. We are privileged to now be part of the community. Dress a Girl Around the World is a campaign under Hope 4 Women International, an organization bringing dignity to women around the world since 2006. Visit their website to learn more, www.h4wi. org.

Church Group Hosts Christmas Dinner to Raise Funds for Classrooms in Northeast Thailand Thoo Mweh Who??? Thoo Mweh Khee….sounds like I’m stuttering, right? Like I’ve lost my two front teeth. Thoo Mweh Khee is a learning center in Maesot, Thailand, up near the border of Myanmar. It’s a place where kids from nearby Karen tribes can come and get an education and a real chance at turning their life around. Kids from these tribes who do not get an education, get married soon after their twelth birthday and end up being kids trying to raise their own kids. Education gives them another path and a real chance to change their community. This group may sound familiar as many from our Nichada community helped the children of Chaengwattana Community Church (CCC) raise money to renovate the kitchen in Thoo Mweh Khee with our “Cookin’ Up Care” campaign last year. You may remember a ghastly “before” kitchen photo. Here on page 15 is an “after” photo. Cement, tile and a new gas stove (replacing the wood burning stoves) are a few of the highlights helping to provide a healthy kitchen space. Thank you for each donation. It was so fantastic to see our community come together. The kitchen renovations were completed in the nick of time! Last spring saw many neighboring border camps and schools closing as restrictions tightened. This caused a huge increase in the number of kids coming to Thoo Mweh Khee. Luckily, their kitchen could handle it. Their classrooms, however, could not. Currently, make-shift classrooms have been erected from awnings and tarps so that the kids can study out of the direct sun, but they leave little protection from the elements of wind and rain. We are working on correcting that. We’d like to raise 88,000 baht to outfit eight new classrooms. Education is everything to these kids. New graduates go back to their villages and become the teachers, the medics, the leaders of their communities. They ensure other kids have a chance to get an education as well. One of the beautiful things about helping in Thailand is that you often get to see exactly where your contributions are going. There are often trips up to Maesot and Thoo Mweh Khee, and the kids of CCC invite you to come along. Also, some 14

of the youth from Thoo Mweh Khee get special permission to travel down to Nonthaburi once a year. This year we get to host them again! They will be sharing their culture and a healthy dose of Christmas cheer by giving a performance that includes singing and dancing at Chaengwattana Community Church on Saturday, November 14 from 6-8 pm. This performance is open to the public and will include an international tapas dinner catered by Que Pasa and some of the Pakistani community. Once again we have secured donors, and 100% of your ticket sales will go toward our goal of preparing new classrooms. Tickets will be sold in the neighborhood. Watch the Nichada Facebook pages for selling dates and times. For more information, you can email: office@cccthailand. org. Kathy Mannikko

LifeForce Gym & Members Raise Funds for Sarnelli Orphanage In the past year the LifeForce Gym, together with its members, took action to raise funds for the Nongkhaibased Sarnelli House, a refuge for abandoned, HIV infected, and abused children. T-shirt sales, fitness classes, women’s self-defense seminar, bake sale, and raffle tickets sales raised a total of 121,000 baht for the cause. LifeForce, located next to the OC Organic shop in Nichada, chose to help Sarnelli House, because it’s an organization supported by friends of gym owners Tony and Jah. The Sarnelli House is run by Father Michael Shea, an American Redemptorist priest who originally came to Thailand in 1966 to help the poor and abandoned. His work with people dying from HIV/AIDS in Nongkhai started in 1998. At that time treatment was not accessible or affordable in Thailand. Many people infected were forced out from their communities. Fr. Shea cared for and provided food, and whatever medicines he could source for the ill. Inevitably, he was asked to care for their children after they passed as well. In 1999, he responded by opening Sarnelli House to house the orphaned children. Over the years it has grown to include seven houses, where about 140 children live on a full-time basis. Not all the children at Sarnelli have HIV. Many are abandoned, from poor families, or are victims of abuse. What they have in common is the need for shelter, love, safety, and belonging. There is also an outreach program for the local community affected by HIV and poverty. Upon visiting Sarnelli House, other LifeForce members and I were expecting to see scenes of despondency and resignation. On the contrary, what we witnessed was quite the opposite. While we remembered the horrible stories of abuse and abandonment suffered by these children, they chose to make Sarnelli House a place of joy and love. The interaction and care that the staff of Sarnelli House gave to the children were both genuine and passionate. The LifeForce Gym has pledged continued commitment to keep in touch with the Sarnelli House and to take further actions in raising funds to help them with their work. For more information about the orphanage, please visit www.sarnellihouse.org. On behalf of LifeForce Gym, I would like to thank those participating in this fundraising effort. Your contributions truly help make a difference in the lives of these children. Vara Sumetanon 16

Park. The main purpose was not to see the shrines and the temples, but to go see and feed the free-roaming deer around the park. There were hundreds, if not thousands of them in the park. There are stalls selling deer cookies for 200 yen a pack. Feeding them was the highlight of my kids’ day. My highlight was eating at a ramen shop deep inside the park that specializes in delicious ramen and udon noodles with various toppings. The restaurant name is Mizuya-Chaya (also on Google Maps). Another place that was on the must-visit list for the kids was Universal Studios Japan. I did extensive research on park admissions, where to buy fast passes, etc. There are tons of information on the Internet. We were so happy we bought some passes (they allow you to skip lines, similar to Fast Pass system at Disneyland); otherwise, the kids wouldn’t have gotten to ride anything. The lines were tremendously

For this past October break, our family chose to go to Japan, upon the request of my recent ISB graduate who will start college in January. It’ll be our last family trip together for a long time. She picked Japan and didn’t care where in Japan. So, I did a bit of research and picked Osaka because it’s a destination I thought the whole family would love. We flew low-cost airline Air Asia X (offering longhaul flights) from Don Mueang to Kansai International Airport. Flying out of Don Mueang is convenient, but going low cost has its limitations. First of all, the luggage weight allowance is only one piece at 20 kg per person. The standard meal offered was minimal (but you have the option of buying an upgraded meal beforehand). The worst limitation for us was the lack of any in-flight entertainment. The kids were bored, but they survived. If you plan to fly Air Asia X out of Don Mueang, prepare a good book to read. There are no bookstores in the international terminal! We arrived in Osaka late at night and took the shuttle bus from the airport directly to the hotel. There are several hotels that the bus services. Please check the details before you book. We decided to get around the city by train and subway to relieve the hassle of renting a car and finding parking. Finding our way around town was really not difficult, especially with the help of Google Maps. Our days in Osaka were spent exploring the city, eating delicious, fresh, and most importantly, inexpensive sushi, and shopping! There was so much to do every day and our feet ached from all the walking. We also went out of Osaka to Nara, to explore Nara

long, with waiting times up to three hours for some rides. Still, we had a good experience there. Since we went there before Halloween, it was fun to see people dressed up as different characters. The fun wasn’t limited just to kids. Most people I saw who were dressed up were mostly grown-ups. Since we went to Osaka during the Autumn season, I was hoping to catch glimpses of red, orange and yellow fall foliage. So, we ventured up north to Minoo Park. The trip was an easy two-train ride away from where we were staying. We got to taste deep-fried maple leaves in batter called Momiji tempura on the hike up to the waterfall in the park. They are only available in the fall. The hike was not strenuous and the path is paved. It took us about 4560 minutes to reach the waterfall. Along the way, the kids stopped by at the Insectarium, which they really loved. We enjoyed both the weather and the hike a lot. We spent about a week in Osaka. I wish I had planned an overnight trip to nearby Kyoto, but there was not enough time. Japan is roughly a 5-hour flight from Bangkok, and there are direct flights into many cities in Japan. The whole trip was made easy because of the information available on the website Japan-guide.com. It is a very, very good source for everything you need to know about visiting Japan.

Best Deal on Local Street Food On weekday mornings, the street outside Nichada’s main gate bustles with activity as locals stop at food stalls to grab a quick breakfast. The pushcart vendors offer everything from hot, fresh soy milk to fried bread, grilled pork sticks, barbequed chicken and fish, fresh fruits, and my personal favorit — made-to-order Thai omelette (khaijiew) on a bed of rice. At the bend in the road, near Sayan Vet Clinic, you’ll find Khun Manee’s tiny and spotless, 2-table shop. She invites customers to open a foam icebox to select the veggies and meat they would like in their omelette. She expertly cooks it on the spot, and believe it or not, charges only 25 baht for a generous serving of omelette and rice. The price used to be 30 baht per box, but she gave so much rice that some customers said they couldn’t finish the meal. So, K. Manee scaled back the amount of rice and charged 5 baht less. K. Manee sells her omelettes from 7am until 2pm, or until her ingredients are sold out. Catch her early! Liz Lu

Sunday Flower Vendor Outside Main Gate

Pic of Poinsettia Livonia to resend

We love, love, love the flower vendors! Every Sunday they set up a stand opposite 7-Eleven outside Nichada’s front gate. They offer a beautiful selection of fresh cut orchids (white, pink, purple, and orange) at 80 baht each! They also sell seasonal plants with or without pot, for approsimately 100 to 200 baht. Last week, I bought holiday poinsettias, which cost 100 bhat without a pot, or 230 baht with a pot.

Orchids last up to 1.5 weeks if you change the water and use distilled water, not tap water. Fresh flowers really brighten the spirit in a home and are just a beautiful accent to have. It’s an inexpensive way to do an act of kindness, add beautiful accent to space and support a local business. Livonia Winkles

HealthyLicious365 I’m sold on HealthyLicious365. It’s near 7-Eleven outside Nichada’s front gate. I walked in alone my first time and was served a beautiful plate of Chicken Green Curry Quinoa Fried Rice in the shop, though they are prepped to be a takeout delivery service. They are now a simple Line message request away for delivery. The full menu was sent to Line so I can easily order. The sous-vide chicken is so tender, moist and flavorful in 7 flavors. Try it in a salad or bowl with lots of veggies. They also have smoothie bowls that are delicious. My daughter and I love this place. She’s even paid for her own delivery. If you are looking to maintain a clean diet they did daily and weekly menus aligned with Das PowerHaus. Guilt free eating pleasure. Try it. Cassie Waters December 2019

Wellness Real Estate - a $134 billion business and Growing Worldwide

t 58 years of age, George Clooney seems to have it all, doesn’t he? A charismatic and celebrated actor, devoted husband and father, and the global brand ambassador of Nespresso. So how does he seem to get better with age? And how can mere mortals like us (both men and women) do the same?

have the boundless energy we had in our twenties,

it is there for all of us who choose to seek it out. But how do we seek out health and wellness? Advances in science, medicine and technology have enabled us to control disease and provide us with the kind of comfort and convenience options that our ancestors could only have

global average life expectancy increased by 5.5 years between 2000 and 2016, the fastest increase since the 1960s. And yet, there is a downside to this progress. We now typically favour driving over biking, sitting over walking, riding in elevators over using the stairs, fast food screen time over outdoor recreation. Lack of exercise, poor diet, environmental pollution and the combination of high stress and increased social isolation all contribute to a reduced overall quality of life. dramatic increase in respiratory and chronic diseases that is costing the global economy over $500 billion a year. also a social problem. People are living longer, but sadly more of us are living lonelier, unhealthier and unhappier lives. Our homes, communities and surrounding environments determine up to 80/90% of our health outcomes. Our home is our most important personal investment and expenditure, so it is only logical that it should also be an investment in our health and wellbeing. But what exactly is wellness? Do green smoothies, brisk power-walks, sunrise meditation or yoga by the sea all immediately spring to mind? Close but the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health. Years on, I have come to realise how important our wellness becomes the fore – physical health, nutrition, and social and family engagement. Now we are living longer lives, we owe it to ourselves to be wellness focused. It’s not just about the years we put in, it’s what we put into those years. Wellness is so much more than the mere absence of disease and illness. It is about enhancing your potential and quality of life. Instead of seeking to understand, treat and prevent disease, wellness looks towards creating, enhancing and harmonising health. Real estate companies, investors and the public are starting to see the financial and physical benefits of creating and living in areas dedicated to health. Wellness communities are on the rise, having blossomed into a $134 billion industry worldwide and still growing fast (Nicosia, 2017). Introducing Sunplay Bangsaray, a community where residents can live their best lives. While there is widespread interest from around the world in wellness communities, let’s take a look at one which is right on our doorstep in Thailand. Set on 175 rai (28 hectares) of gently sloping hillside, Sunplay Bangsaray is a collection of luxurious apartments and private pool villas. At the heart of the estate is the superbly quipped Sunplay Club, where residents can participate in a full range of premium fitness, recreation, and dinning facilities. A pioneer in this space, the developers, Sunplay Asia combines wellness and an active lifestyle concept with a focus on multigenerational living, social connectivity and leisure alongside luxury. Driven by the increased consciousness from individuals and communities to live healthier and longer lives, Sunplay Asia is progressively redefining the standards of places where we choose to live, work and play. Our homes are the last frontier for wellness and should support healthy, active lifestyles that have an ability to foster communities of people who share similar values and personal goals. Imagine a life where you participate in regular exercise, daily engagement with your surroundings and neighbours, a place where you can also have an abundance of options to enhance your health and wellbeing, a home where wellness is effortless. For many, this idyllic scenario may seem out of reach or even a utopian fantasy, but a movement is taking shape and gaining momentum to bring this vision of wellness into everyday life, homes and communities.

Surrounded by world-class facilities, Sunplay Bangsaray is perfectly positioned in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), a hotspot for high-end tourism and investment. Bangkok is 90 minutes away by car, while the fast-expanding U-Tapao international airport can be reached in just 20 minutes. A bypass motorway and planned high-speed rail link will reduce journey times even further. Sunplay Bangsaray is all about sustainability and living in harmony with the community and the environment. With its innovative eco-dome providing fresh herbs and vegetables, and through social enterprise ventures like Baan Sunsaray School, Sunplay Bangsaray is committed to enhancing the life of its residents and the local community.

“Wellness requires meaningful life changes and our vision was to create a community where our residents could live their best lives – physically, mentally and socially,” says Adrian. The time has come to treat our homes as an investment in our wellness.

Feature: Thai Culture Thai Culture: What are Hindu Gods Doing Near that Spirit House in this Buddhist Country?

Since Plato, people have sought to classify objects, naturally grouping similar things and ideas. As we look at culture in Thailand, we cannot help but do the same. However, it’s not always easy as there exist contradictions and confusing observations that don’t jibe with what we think, have read in guidebooks, or have learned. Although there is no official state religion (Thai Constitution guarantees religious freedom for all citizens), the King is required by law to be a Theravada Buddhist. It is reported that 95% of the country is also Buddhist. So then how do we seek to understand things like spirit houses and Hindu shrines that are so ubiquitous in our Buddhist country? One of the first things you will learn if you attend a guided tour of the National Museum of Bangkok is that Thai religion is a seamless “fusion” of three broad religions: Buddhism, Hinduism and Animism. What is important is that to those practicing Thai Buddhism there exists no delineation between the three practices; the blend is the practice. Buddhism Buddhism is the world’s fourth largest religion and encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices 42

attributed to Buddha who was born in India in the 6th century BC. It is quite easy to identify Buddhism as everyone recognizes Buddha and identifies the offerings and wais given to pay respect. Hinduism Hinduism is the world's third largest religion. Like Buddhism, Hinduism originated in India and is often considered a dharma or way of life, rather than a religion. Three Hindu gods, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are depicted in many Thai murals as they attend to the Prince Siddhartha (who later achieved enlightenment and became Buddha). The three Hindu gods are extremely important and represent the continual cycles of birth, life, death and rebirth. Hindu deities Indra and Ganesha have also been assimilated into Buddhist doctrine here in Thailand and are depicted in Buddhist temple murals as deities who protect, guide, and bring luck to all. Hindu gods ride around the cosmic universe on “vehicles” and we often see the power of these vehicles present in images including the Garuda (half-man, half eagle), Hamsa (swan), Erawan (three-headed elephant), and less frequently, Nandi the bull. Animism: Animism: The third “ingredient” in the mix of Thai Buddhism is Animism, whose Latin root “anima” means “wind, air, breath, life or soul.” Animism is the belief that objects, places and creatures all have spirits. It is the oldest religion in the world, vital to many indigenous populations, and was here in Thailand long before Buddhism and Hinduism. Animism is practiced daily by most Thai people, and even visitors get accustomed to seeing its evidence. Spirit houses

accommodate and keep spirits happy, who then are appeased and don’t bring trouble to the owner/occupants of the nearby home or land. Merger of Buddhism, Hindusim and Animism Two obvious examples of where you’ll notice all three “religions” are the Thai temples, or wats, and the large fig trees wrapped in ribbons. A wat built to house a Buddha image is decorated with small mirrors so when ugly Animist spirits appear, they are afraid of their own reflections and leave! Above the door on the gable you may see the Hindu god Vishnu riding his Garuda. Also, the decorative edging of a wat’s triangular roofline represents both the feathers of the Garuda (symbolized at the roof peak), and the scales of the serpent Naga (whose head is at the bottom). This connection of the Garuda (heaven or the sky) and the Naga (earth or water) symbolizes ongoing cosmic balance. Thresholds on the floor keep out the evil spirits lurking on the ground. The large fig tree that is wrapped in ribbon also exemplifies Buddhism, Hinduism and Animism all in one. Small figures of Hindu deities, Buddha images and perhaps images of a Thai King are placed with care in the crevices to appease the spirits who reside within. Daily offerings of incense, food and drink are provided, and prayers meant for the spirits become commonplace as a normal part of Thailand’s cultural richness. This special spiritual combination of Buddhism, Hinduism and Animism is everywhere in Thailand. Examining how the three distinct categories coexist offers insight on understanding Thai spirituality. NNR Tour Highlights

Highlights: NNR November 22 Tour Felicia Design Jewelry Factory & M.R. Kukrit’s Heritage Home

d

On November 22, an NNR organized trip to explore Bangkok was held. Our first stop was Felicia Design, a jewelry production house where intricate and high-end designer quality products are made, each with pure silver or gold. We received a warm greeting from Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg Conselvan, the managing director of the company, who explained the step-by-step process of the creation of their jewelry. We were shown very exquisite designs as well as impressive craftsmanship. It was very exciting to learn how a small piece of jewelry goes through so many hands of labor from sampling, production, to finishing and finally, polishing. All the jewelry was available for purchase at wholesale prices, and all proceeds will be donated to Kids Action for Kids, a non-profit organization providing treatment for children born with a cleft palate along with other facial deformities. I’m happy to share that our shopping purchases helped raise enough money to finance three cleft palate operations! NNR will be organizing another visit to Felicia Designs in early 2020, so don’t miss out! After this stop, we went to the Yellow Ribbon Home Kitchen, which was near our next visit to M.R. Kukrit’s heritage home. M.R. Kukrit was part of a political party in 1945 and became Thailand’s 13th prime minister from 1974 to 1975. He was a prolific writer; his works consists of novels, stage 46

plays, short stories, and poems, to a daily column for his own newspaper, 'Siam Rath’. All of his work heavily promoted Thai culture. His home was made of separate teak houses connected with open verandas, all in the style of authentic traditional Thai architecture. His house was surrounded by lovely lawns and a beautiful pond in the backyard. This home is not only visually appealing but also, due to the contrast between the traditional Thai architecture and the skyscrapers of Bangkok, showed the cultural and modern sides of Bangkok. I'm extremely grateful to the NNR Tour team - Pascale Kervyn and Maida Muslic-Kovar - for organizing this trip. A big thank you to the wonderful tour guides for their enthusiasm and company. I'm looking forward to more enriching outings.

Broccoli Revolution A Smorgasbord of Vegan Options at Bangkok Restaurant

Address: 899 Sukhumvit Rd, Bangkok Tel: 095 251 9799

I’m going Vegan! Just kidding! I am not, BUT I want to move towards that direction, i.e. eating less meat and more plant-based foods. So, when I was downtown one day, instead of going to (what’s claimed to be) Thailand’s first gourmet pizzeria and Italian restaurant at Pizza Massilia, I instead went to Broccoli Revolution. It is located in the same soi as Pizza Massalia, Soi Sukhumvit 49. Some of you may know of Broccoli Revolution, when they sometimes come to school events, offering smoothies, drinks, and other snacks. I had never tried them when they came to our neighborhood, but my daughter (the health-conscious one, not the picky eater one) loves their Acai bowl. At the restaurant, the menu covers all three meals of the day. Breakfast, served until 12 pm, includes avocado toast served on spinach bread, made with home-made soy ricotta, pumpkin seed and pomegranate; breakfast burrito (tofu burrito served with guacamole and salsa); and tofu scramble breakfast (tofu scramble served with toast, organic green salad and seared tomato). Appetizers, soups, salads, main courses, vegan rice bowls, healthy drinks, vegan smoothies, coffee, tea, kombucha tea, kefir soda, and desserts are all offered. We tried the quesadilla, which is a grilled whole-wheat tortilla filled with spiced tofu, guacamole, and salsa. It was DELICIOUS! My daughter said it tasted just like chicken! Cauliflower bites was another dish that we tried. To be honest though, this one looked better than it tasted. For main courses, we got the broccoli quinoa charcoal burger (served with either home-made French fries, or organic green salad). It, too, was delicious. The patty did not taste like beef, but it tasted neither bland nor December 2019

green. The pumpkin burrito was another one of their best sellers. My sister tried the Vietnamese style Bun Cha Gio Dau Hu, rice noodles with tofu and fried spring rolls. She loved it even though she was not all that enthusiastic about trying vegan food in the first place! We ordered a few more dishes to go, including banana caramel dark chocolate bread. Everything was very, very good. They even have vegan ice cream on the menu! It’s 100% dairy free, and there was a variety of flavors to choose from. Broccoli Revolution is located on Sukhumvit Road right before Soi 49. The restaurant itself has no parking spaces, but there is parking available in buildings nearby on Soi 47 and Soi 49. An alternative is to use Grab, LineMan, or Food Panda to have orders delivered to Nichada Thani. For more information about vegan diet, check out a new Netflix documentary “The Game Changers”.
