INTERNATIONAL IMPERIAL COURT SYSTEM OF THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND MEXICO

Good Evening Honorable Nobles and Guests,

Thirty-eight years ago I had the honor to crown my Royal son Emperor 1, George and Empress 1, Sybil Bruncheon, New York’s first Monarchs, at the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Emperor 1 George and I were involved with the National Board of Directors of the Human Rights Campaign and I had the privilege to guide and advise him in establishing the New York Chapter. Years later I was honored to be proclaimed Queen Mother 1 of New York. I have been coming to New York since the 1970s for LGBTQA+ national activists conferences/meetings and was honored to have been elected the national co-chair of Stonewall25 and to be able to speak at the rally in Central Park. I have met Coretta Scott King, Liza Minnelli, Keith Haring, Larry Kramer and so many others in New York. Thus New York and the LGBTQA+ community and national events hold a very special place in my heart. 38 years ago the Imperial Court of New York became a permanent special part of my heart.

Indeed the New York Court has become one of the most shining jewels in the International Crown of our court system and many of your monarchs have become valuable members of the International Imperial Court Council. Now my successor and Heir will be my beloved imperial daughter, Empress Coco LaChine and it is our honor to present another $1000 donation to your scholarship fund named after her.

As the founder of the International LGBTQ Wall of Honor at the historic Stonewall Inn, I can tell you that it never would have become a reality without the support and hard work of the leadership and membership of the Imperial Court of New York. I want to take this time also to sincerely thank the Tyler Clemente Foundation for honoring me this year at their national dinner and want to also announce an IICC $1000 grant for your outstanding and dedicated work against bullying.

I want to congratulate Emperor Graham D’ Cracker and Empress Madelyn Keyth on another outstanding reign and wish Jeffrey II and Ruby Starling a great year of noble deeds. So many the New York nobles have become part of my rainbow family; I cherish our friendships.

I leave you with this for 2024; Out of the closest and into the voting booths.

God Bless you all.

Empress Nicole The Great

On behalf of the LGBTQ+ youth we are privileged to serve, Trinity Place Shelter would like to express our gratitude for the honor of being selected as the 2024 beneficiary of Night of a Thousand Gowns.

Trinity Place fills a critical niche by operating a home-like residence where LGBTQ+ young people can stay up to 18 months. Our mission is to create a safe, affirming shelter where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ*) youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in New York City can access the skills and resources needed to exit the cycle of homelessness.

Our beloved shelter relies on the generosity of our community and the Imperial Court of New York has been a stalwart supporter, friend, and a true extension of our TPS family over the years. From generous in-kind gifts and donations, to a colorful variety of benefits, to community potluck dinners, the court has been a constant companion in the life of the shelter and a vital force in sustaining our life-giving work.

We remain grateful to the Imperial Court of New York for using their platform to give much hope and light to the LGBTQ+ youth who find themselves at our doors.

Faithfully yours,

Trinity Place Shelter

Trinity Place Shelter is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization (registered as Trinity Community Connection, Inc.), and your donation is fully tax-deductible. No goods or services were received in exchange for this donation

The Imperial Court of Buffalo Regent Council

wishes to congratulate The Imperial Court of New York, Emperor Graham D’Craquer and Empress Madelyne Keyth on another successful reign! Best of luck to Imperial Crown Prince Royal Jeffrey II and Imperial Crown Princess Royale Ruby Starling!
