Follow the instructions on the packaging about the possible risks of the load (for example if the load is corrosive).

If no indications appear, it is enough to carefully observe the load (shape, size, dangerous points, grip points ...).

Ask other people for help, if the weight of the load is excessive or you have to adopt uncomfortable postures during the manual handling of the load. Plan the transport route and the final destination point of the survey.

Our products are vacuum packed, which helps to maintain the useful life and efficiency of our active ingredient, also improves the stacking properties allowing to obtain more compact bags, but makes them sensitive to be drilled by objects of greater hardness, that's why It is important that the product is handled according to theIDENTIFICATION recommendationsOF given in this guide. OUR

PACKAGING MATERIAL PRIMARY PACKAGING The primary packaging is that which contains the product in its individual presentation ready for first -hand use. UCPL selects primary packaging materials of the highest quality, which guarantee that our products reach the customer in optimal conditions for their use.

Reinforced multilayer structure for presentations greater than 15 kg

For the primary packaging of our products we use plastic bags whose structure is reinforced with high performance thermoplastic polymers, which provide excellent barrier properties and mechanical resistance.

For presentation greater than 10 kg, a structure IMPORTANT reinforced with Polyamide (Nylon) was develoThis document is a guide, which informs in an instructive way about what are the best storage and handling practices for ped, which helps to improve the resistance to our products; but, DO NOT EXEMPT the ďŹ nal user about their responsibilities in the use and disposal of the product, bytearing punching the Allbag, improving products derived from itsand application packaging of materials. associated materials or High materials that metallized come in contact barrier multilayer structure for with our products must be arranged according to the applicable local and national laws and regulations in each country. handling during loading and unloading opera1 and 3 kg presentations Additionally, all regulations, norms and recommendations on occupational health and safety issues must be respected. tions; Similarly, for small packaging presentations, UCPL structures is not responsible for inadequate of handling given to our products laminated composed High Barrier Bioriented Polypropylene, high strength metalli- The thermoplastic materials used zed plastic film and highly sellable polyethylene in the packaging of our products are made of 100% virgin resin film are used.

SECONDARY PACKING

SUJECION DE LA CARGA CARGO FASTENING FASTENING LOAD

The secondary packaging is an external complement that groups together several samples of primary packaging, whose function is to safeguard it in quantities that simplify its distribution, storage and inventory. To help protect our product we use certified cardboard from reforested forests whose nominal compressive strength is 1000 Kgf / m (4,413 N / m), this cardboard is used for box packing and pallet protection.

INDIVIDUAL PALLETS1

PROTECTION

OF

All our pallets1, have an additional protection system, which consists of an upper and a lower protector in corrugated cardboard, this system apart from protecting the integrity of the load helps maintain the dimensional stability of the pallet1 To improve the stability of the load, stretch film is applied to the packed material and immunized wooden boards are placed on each pallet1, which allows storing at two or more levels taking better advantage of the storage space.

1PALLET:

We use a high performance fastening system for containers, which reduces the movement of cargo during sea transport. This system consists of polypropylene woven bags which absorb the movements of the load, staples in carbon steel and reinforced Polyester fastening bands that keep the cargo firmly anchored to the structure of the container. wooden frame, plastic or other material used in the movement of load .

STORAGE AND PRESERVATION OF OUR PRODUCTS Products manufactured by UCPL due to their nature must be stored in conditions of low humidity and minimal exposure to the weather. Direct exposure to the sun and rain negatively impact the integrity of the packaging material and consequently the effectiveness of the active agent of the product. Correct storage

The pallets1 should be stored at maximum three levels, for the case of pallets1 that contain boxes these should be stored maximum at two levels, to avoid vertical compression of the cardboard. All areas where our products are stored must be properly identified and / or demarcated, and must always be covered to ensure dry environments, the storage place must have good ventilation and lighting to prevent deterioration of the products. The products must be stored in places free of moisture and drastic temperature changes to avoid deterioration of the packaging.

When handling products that are packed in boxes, never do so with the upper or lower flaps open, this could damage the packaging and cause loss of product containment.

When moving our boxes in a cargo vehicle, make the corners of the boxes coincide with each other and place them towards the end of the vehicle body.

It is recommended not to mix products of different characteristics, if so, they should be separated from each other in such a way that damage to packaging materials is avoided.

If there are empty spaces in vehicles or containers that can not be avoided, it is recommended to fill those spaces with soft material that cushions blows, air mattresses or corrugated cardboard, to avoid damage to the packaging.

Do not stand on the bags or on the boxes of the product, it could cause the packaging to deform and generate a loss of containment.

Handle the bag and any type of load at the height of the upper abdomen. Put the greater effort on the legs and not on the spine.

The weight of the load to be handled. 

In ideal conditions and perfect for handling, with an ideal posture for handling, a firm hold of the object with a neutral position of the wrist, smooth and spaced lifts and favorable environmental conditions, the weight of the load should not exceed 25 kg.

If the workers who are going to handle the load are women, young or old employees, or simply seek to protect a certain segment of the population, loads of more than 15 kg should not be handled.

The position of the load with respect to the body. 

A fundamental factor that increases the ergonomic risks by manual handling of loads is the separation of the load with respect to the center of gravity of the body.

Two aspects influence the position of the load with respect to the body: the horizontal distance (H) and the vertical distance (V).

Mechanical aids should be used whenever possible.
