Dear Valued Member, My name is Joe St. Laurent and I am the new General Manager of Kona Kai Resort. Noble House Hotels contacted me when the opportunity for this position surfaced, and I was very excited to put my name in the hat. I had worked for Noble House Hotels in the past, and I had also worked in beautiful San Diego. I can tell you, it is a great company who prides itself on developing unique and superior products that reflect the region and its rich history. As you know, Noble House has owned and operated the Kona Kai Marina for some time and we now have the ability to create so many wonderful relationships between it and the newly acquired resort. Noble House is committed to bringing back the Kona Kai Resort to its glory days with modern flare. You will see many new changes in the coming year that will include public area and guestroom renovations. We are also focusing on our culinary division and working on creating menus that are both unique and refreshing. Noble House is finalizing our first phase plans and changes are soon to follow. We will begin with an updated Lobby and Guestroom. Guestroom changes will include carpet, furnishings, flat screen TV’s and Egyptian cotton linens. We will also be making vast changes in the Dining Room that will be sure to enhance the member and guest experience. In the following pages, please see conceptual photography that showcases the future look and feel of the property. This is a very exciting process for the entire team at the Kona Kai and we are all confident you will be amazed as we continuously improve the environment for our members, guests and tenants. Below is a list of your new amenities you will receive as a Club Member: 1. Access to the Fitness Center during regular business hours (excluding blackout dates or special events). 2. 25% off best available room rate for guest rooms (does not apply on holidays or Summer weekends June - Aug.). 3. 15% off food and beverage in outlets. 4. 10% off catered events in the Hotel or on your boat (discount only good when applied to published menu price and can’t be combined with other discounts). 5. 10% off water sports rentals (anticipated to start Summer 2013). 6. Access to Pool (excluding blackout dates or special events). 7. Access and 15% discount available on new Beach Lounge chair service (anticipated to start in the Spring of 2013). 8. A new Concierge Service offering limited grocery and food and beverage delivery to our Marina guests is being designed and will roll out in the Spring of 2013. 9. Room Service to your boat is being developed and will roll out in the Spring of 2013 (service will be to-go style). 10. Signing privileges to your personal account if your account is kept current (available in the Spring of 2013). 11. Additional guest passes can be purchased for people that surpass the four allotted to each slip for $15 based on setup for billing per day. However, extra passes are restricted to the days that the dock master and Hotel management feel are non-peak days regarding occupancy and demand.
