What do you think about this thing? BalĂ zs Berzsenyi sculptor I would like to make it clear first of all that I am not an "artist" but a pure sculptor. The motivation for which I sculpt is due to an inner feeling and a need for survival since I would not do other things. I'm always looking for new techniques and materials that become tools to communicate. I like to talk and tell what many do not want to hear or see. My country is Hungary. It is interesting the "folk art" that is still deeply felt in all its forms, and those who practice it are a very united and active group. When I was living in Hungary, I was part of this group. I rarely exhibit because I do not agree with the politics of today's gallery owners, but I like


keeping myself updated and going to see the exhibits of others both sculptors and painters, photographers, etc. I find inspiration in my mind, I have no determined places, everything, and nothing. I studied, as a young man, to have the basics, but the real school was the life and the need and the desire to express myself. I remember my first job, but I'm not sure it's an "artistic work" because I do not know what "artistic work" means. For me, there is only a trade that I practice that is that of the sculptor. At the age of six, I made my first primitive sculpture on a brick. I do not believe in social networks and the web because in my job there is a need for physical contact. I think this has already been understood. I have many ongoing projects that involve an innovation to present visual arts that I could only explain to you live. I have done a few solo shows but have done several monumental works that can be shared with many people as they are in public places. I have no particular favorite work. All are different and tell stories. I do not have a place in particular where I would show my works, the whole world can be exciting. I read art magazines and everything related to sculpture. I really like Somaini, Mitoraj and especially Pomodoro.


I'm glad you contacted me, but until today I did not understand what you can do with me. I thank you, and I'm curious to see where this relationship ends. As for the small tax, return to the speech of art galleries and today's method. Anyone paying can participate. There is no choice due to merit or professionalism. The professional sculptor invests and not a little, to make sculpture, the gallery owner, the publisher spends to do their work, each risking. I have never asked a gallery owner or editor for a contribution to do my job. This too would be a topic to be developed verbally. Thanks for your attention.

Bo rn in 1982 at Algiers, Farah Terkm ani is passio nate w ith art since her childho o d. She naturally did artistic studies. After do ing art studies at Paris, dealing w ith sculpture, pho to graphy as w ell as fashio n, she spent tim e to build netw o rk fo cused o n art allo w ing her to earn a lo t o f experiences. In 2014, she m o ved fro m the capital o f France to a m o re sunny city nam ed M arseille in the So uth o f France. Sun, M editerranean sea and cultural exchanges m ade the artist in need to be the bridge betw een France and her native co untry Algeria. She then realized her do uble legacies and understand so o n cultural filters has big im pact o n w o rld perceptio n. Her w o nderings as w o m an drive her little by little to have a deeper reflectio n o n the aw areness o f o ther fro m here and there (o u fro m all o ver the w o rld) w hatever the differences. Fro m this po int o n, she is co m m itted to use her im aginatio n thro ugh fantastic play o f shapes and co lo urs suppo rted by co ncepts bo rn fro m her im aginary universe. She let herself get carried aw ay by the spur o f the m o m ent, highlighting her deepest thinks. Thro ugh her art, she, w ho is fem inine and dream y, escapes tim e and space, building her o w n reality w here she can pro ject her o w n feelings, ideas and all im ages into shapes The purpo se is the reflectio n, as she thinks art is a m ean to bring peo ple to gether to exchange and elevate them selves. Art appro ach pho to graphy Thro ugh art studies, Farah Terkm ani learnt to do pho to graphy. To freeze the unpredictable m o m ent is the charm o f this m edia.
