When artist Jeannie Crosby showed me her portfolio of paper sculpture, I held back tears of excitement. I knew we had to work with her! We commissioned her to build a jungle set entirely out of paper. Each of these birds took over 15 hours to make!
One of my favorite things about my job is traveling to visit our artisan business partners around the globe. There is always a landscape blooming into spring or summer somewhere in the world, from matoke trees in Uganda to the foliage surrounding Lago Atitlan in Guatemala. The lush scenery of these regions served as the inspiration for this lookbook. We invited a paper artist to create a surreal jungle for our photo shoot in the same way Artisans around the world create our products: by hand and with love. As I have traveled to visit both Artisans and Ambassadors this year, I’ve realized that something incredible is happening through Noonday. All across the world, women are connecting with one another, realizing that we’re more alike than we are different! Throughout the lookbook, we’ll introduce you to a few of the Artisans and Ambassadors who are a part of our community. Each has a unique story, but they are all connected by what they have in common. Together we’re creating a flourishing world—come join us!
Noonday Collection Founder Mexico is where I go to revive my soul, so I am so excited to finally harness the artistry of Mexican folklore in our new embroidered Otomi Bird of Paradise Bag.
The whimsical print on these Alice and Olivia pants was the perfect accent for our cover shot. 4
I designed the Rachel Necklace with Jalia when our families were together on a safari in Uganda. Jalia is a social entrepreneur who leads an artisan business in Uganda that is growing quickly thanks to partnership with Noonday. Not only does the memory make it my favorite new necklace, but I also love how versatile it is!
The bold, tropical colors in our Spring 2015 pieces pair perfectly with so many of the basic tops I already own and love.
Do you know how hard it has been to keep this earring collection a secret? Horn encased in metalwork make these beauties, from Vietnam, an everyday earring with a classic Noonday twist.
Our world is big, but becomes so small when I travel with Ambassadors to introduce them to the Artisans who create Noonday’s jewelry and accessories. Over 30 Ambassadors have traveled to meet the women of Santiago, Guatemala who make one of our signature Spring 2015 bracelets.
I recently traveled to a remote village in the state of Orissa, India to meet the Artisans who hammer, knot and string these gorgeous necklaces. They are absolutely perfect for layering. One of my favorite sounds is the clinking of bangles as the women work! 5

HOW DID YOU BECOME AN ARTISAN? “I came from a poor family and I never thought I would have a job like this. When I started this job, I wanted to be able to provide for my children and give them a good education. At first my goal was to earn money for my family, but now I really love this job.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT YOUR JOB? “I'm paid well and the owner respects us. I have been an Artisan for 10 years now so I am one of the head Artisans in the workshop. I enjoy the responsibility and the detailed work. I’m known as a perfectionist in the workshop, so I like overseeing our quality control. I also enjoy teaching others and helping them be their best.”
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU IN YOUR WORK? “I love spending time with my children, but I spend my time working to make sure they get a good education. If my children are well educated, they'll get good jobs and be able to manage their future lives. They won't need anyone to stand for them. Because of my earnings, none of my children will have to leave school. My kids are my jewels. If I had good money and a good house but my children didn't listen to me, I would not be happy.”
“I love being able to provide for my family through my work!” – RUBY 12
Bothell, WA PO P. 3 5, 576
Jill HOW DID ADOPTION INSPIRE YOU TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “We had a Noonday Trunk Show as a fundraiser for our second adoption. Noonday’s story touched me deeply. My daughters Hana and Sara are adopted from Ethiopia. Many families in Ethiopia struggle to provide for their children. As an Ambassador, I want to help women in my community use their purchasing power to give mothers who have few opportunities the ability to change their circumstances!“
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT NOONDAY TRUNK SHOWS? “It is an amazing privilege to able to share Artisans’ stories with people in my community. When people hear about the Artisans who create each piece, I can see their hearts soften. They start to realize that they can actually make a difference. Every show is so rewarding.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB AS A NURSE? “I’m blessed to do something I love to help meet our family’s needs. My job as a nurse caring for cancer patients is also an avenue to serve others and to become a part of something bigger than me. As I assist with bone marrow transplants, I spend time with patients and their families in their most vulnerable moments. I love to bring hope, laughter, and a listening ear. My job is an open door for meaningful conversation and relationship.”

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO FIND WORK AS AN ARTISAN? “In India, every family wants a boy. When I had a daughter, I was afraid for her. I wanted to do something for her in case I wasn't around in a few years. After getting this job, you can’t imagine how happy I was. It was the first time I managed to do something on my own. It was a moment of pride for my entire family.”
HOW HAS BEING AN ARTISAN CHANGED YOUR LIFE? “I used to feel that I didn’t have a voice in my life. Now that I am earning an income, I don't have to rely on anyone. I don't remember my old identity now. I'm a totally different person because of this opportunity. I love that customers support us and wear our jewelry! Being an Artisan has given a meaning to my life."
WHY IS BEING AN ADVOCATE FOR WOMEN’S RIGHTS IMPORTANT TO YOU? "In India, it is not traditionally accepted for women to work outside their homes. I understand the hardships that women face in life. I want other women to gain respect and stand on their own through work. I go to the women in my community and convince them to come work with us. Many women have felt helpless or been abused, but this work has given them the strength to stand up for themselves.”
“I want all women to become strong and empowered like I have.” – S U N I TA

Desiree HOW DID YOU BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “When I hosted an Adoption Trunk Show to raise funds for our son’s adoption, I loved the experience of everyone coming together for a common cause. I just knew I needed to join. So even though I was pregnant with my fourth child and in the process of adopting again, I signed up! The timing was not perfect (is it ever?), but I knew I wanted to join to support Noonday’s mission.”
“I’m passionate about using my Noonday business as a platform to educate others about HIV.” – D E S I R E E WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE AS AN AMBASSADOR? “On one of our trips to Ethiopia, I had a chance to visit and connect with the Artisans who create Noonday’s artillery jewelry. I loved being able to tell them how much I believe in their work. I had my baby son with me and the women loved passing him around and loving on him. It was so impactful to see them as moms just like me. They have the same goals and dreams for their children.”
WHY IS BEING AN ADVOCATE FOR HIV EDUCATION IMPORTANT TO YOU? “The boys we adopted from Ethiopia are personally affected by the disease, so it’s important for our family to educate others about it. We chose to be open about their HIV status because we didn't want our boys growing up with any shame about it. I’m passionate about using my Noonday business as a platform to educate others about this often misunderstood disease. I want people who are HIV positive to be able to live without fear of judgment or exclusion.”

HOW DID YOU BECOME AN ARTISAN? “I have a daughter with special needs. I need to be able to be close to home to help her during the week. I used to work cleaning houses, but the jobs were too far from my home. I applied for a job as an Artisan creating jewelry because this would allow me to work close to home. I got the job!”
HOW HAS BEING AN ARTISAN HELPED YOU CARE FOR YOUR FAMILY? “I like that the workshop is close to my home so I can care for my daughter. I earn more at the workshop than I would as a house cleaner and I don’t have to work weekends, so I can earn money for my family while also having time to be at home.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH OTHER WOMEN? “My job as an Artisan is like a relaxing pastime for me because of the atmosphere at the workshop. I enjoy coming in to work because it gives me a chance to spend time with the other ladies here. We enjoy chatting and catching up as we create jewelry together. Doing this work and getting to spend time with other women has lifted me up. It makes me forget my problems and always entertains me!”

Judy WHY DID YOU BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “When I discovered Noonday Collection, I went to the website to shop! After digging deeper, I decided that this was a company and cause I could support with my whole heart. None of my friends had heard of Noonday. I felt that by introducing Noonday to a whole new group of people, I could make a real impact.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT NOONDAY? “The best part of being a Noonday Ambassador is the fantastic people that I've met! I met my friend Leslie at my Noonday launch party a little over a year ago. She's not only been a huge supporter of my Noonday business, she's also become a friend who I feel like I've known forever.”
"As Ambassadors, we learn and grow together." – J U D Y HOW HAS THE AMBASSADOR COMMUNITY INFLUENCED YOUR LIFE? “The Noonday Ambassador community has greatly impacted my personal education on spirituality, adoption, international justice, and so much more. I love how women who are completely different in background, age, ethnicity, or politics, can form lifelong bonds over a common interest. As Ambassadors, we learn and grow together. But my favorite thing about this community is the encouragement. Everyone is so supportive of each other’s business goals. It’s an empowering community!” 31

HOW DID YOU BECOME AN ARTISAN? “After being diagnosed with HIV, I went to live on Mount Entoto, a place where healing waters are believed to flow. I was homeless and begging on the mountain to feed my two daughters when I met the leaders of the Artisan business that makes jewelry for Noonday. At the time they were focused on providing work to people with disabilities, but when I told them my story, they hired me and gave me a chance at a better life.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB AS AN ARTISAN? “I enjoy working on the pieces we create that require more skill. It brings me joy to figure out complicated and intricate designs. I take great pride in my work, because it has allowed me to learn new skills and to provide for my children. I’m even able to buy my daughters gifts with my wages now.”
WHY IS HOSPITALITY A PRIORITY FOR YOU? “I used to live on the streets and felt that I had nothing to offer to others. Now that I have a home, I love finding beautiful things to fill it with. I saved my earnings to buy some nice chairs and curtains, something few people can afford here. When guests come over, I love serving them tea from a beautiful pot and give them popcorn to snack on. I am so grateful to have a home to share with others!”

Osheta WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU WANTED TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “I was visiting the Noonday website every day. The company’s mission was quickly finding its way to my heart. When I came across the story of the jewelry made with artillery in Ethiopia, I was sold. I love the idea of helping people move from places of chaos to places of peace. The artillery jewelry in particular is a perfect symbol of that idea.”
WHAT INSPIRES YOU BEFORE A TRUNK SHOW? “When I prepare for a show, I listen to ‘Set the World On Fire’ by Britt Nicole. The song reminds me that all the women who come to a Trunk Show are able to set the world on fire and create a better future for vulnerable families, simply by harnessing their purchasing power!”
WHAT DOES HOSPITALITY MEAN TO YOU? “Once someone told me that I had the gift of hospitality. Although my house at the time was too small to have people over, she encouraged me that ‘hospitality is more than entertaining people in your home—it's making space for people in your lives!’ These words inspire our family. We want our home to be a place where people in our community can find welcome and encouragement. Hospitality means whenever we have something good, we share it. We use what we have to serve others.”

WHY DID YOU BECOME AN ARTISAN?
HOW HAS BEING AN ARTISAN CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
“I used to experience violence at home, but could not leave because I had no way to earn an income. I used to worry that I would have no way to care for my children, since their father refused to help. When I heard about a job opportunity creating paper bead jewelry, I saw a way out of my situation for the first time.”
“Now I am able to pay for school fees and I see a better future for my children. Many years ago, I had a dream that I was taking my son to King’s School, the best school around. This dream has come true! Because of a scholarship through Noonday, my son Jabal is now a student there!”
“The least I can do is use what I have been given to help others.” – MAMA JABAL
HOW IS ADOPTION PART OF YOUR STORY? “After Nalwadda’s parents died, no one in her family stepped up to take her in. She ended up at a relative’s home where she was mistreated. I decided that although I had limited resources, I would adopt her as family. I enrolled her in school and she did so well in athletics that she received a scholarship to a local boarding school. I feel so happy when I see what has become of her. Because I have received so much help through Noonday’s Artisan partner group, the least I can do is use what I have been given to help others.”

WHY DID YOU BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “I love Noonday’s purpose. I have a heart for vulnerable people and love what Noonday is doing to provide Artisans with economic opportunity and dignity. And I won't lie…I love a good accessory! When I saw the beautiful products paired with the mission, I knew Noonday was the perfect match for me.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT NOONDAY? “I have met some of the most amazing women in the Noonday Ambassador community. My Noonday business is helping our family in a practical way as well. As an Ambassador, I am able to meet some of my family's needs. And with eight children, we have a lot of needs around here!”
“Our family culture has been forever altered by adoption.” – K A T H Y WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT FAMILY PRESERVATION? “My husband and I have three biological children and five children adopted from Ethiopia. Adoption has grown our hearts and has instilled a strong sense of compassion in our older children. I always tell people that the only thing I love more than adoption is family preservation. In Ethiopia, many families struggle to care for their children because of poverty. Through Noonday, I am privileged to help create job opportunities that are keeping families together.”

HOW DID YOU BECOME A SEAMSTRESS? “Four years ago, I met a American woman named Jennifer who had moved into my neighborhood. She introduced me and my neighbors to Jessica, the Founder of Noonday Collection. We needed jobs, but many of us did not have job skills. Noonday helped us go to sewing school and purchase supplies to set up a workshop. Now we own a business sewing products for Noonday!”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT BEING AN ARTISAN? “I like getting to sew all of the new designs! Sometimes I also help with design process, which I enjoy. My favorite things to sew are the bags that have special details, like the Tereza Clutch, which has intricate pleats. Most of all I like how my life has improved because of my work. Noonday gave me the opportunity to become a seamstress and I love who I am now.”
WHAT MADE YOUR WEDDING DAY SPECIAL? “There are several different parts of a Rwandan wedding. We have a dowry ceremony first where the man’s family gives cows, beer, and other gifts to the woman’s family to show that they value her. My favorite part was the traditional ceremony held at my parents’ house. My husband bought me a beautiful long dress and white shoes to wear. My wedding was very special. God blessed me greatly by giving me this special day.”

Brooke WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO NOONDAY’S MISSION? “I love that Noonday focuses on keeping families together and supporting adoptive families. Although I am not an adoptive parent, I have had a heart for adoption since I was young. Noonday Collection gives me a way to support and celebrate adoptive families.”
"It was such an honor to see how many people were there to celebrate ‘us.’ We couldn't believe how far people had come to be there.” – BROOKE
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THE NOONDAY COMMUNITY? “Noonday allows me to connect with women in my community and Artisans across the globe. I’ve only lived in St. Louis for a year, but being an Ambassador has made it easy to meet new people. I also connected with Ambassadors across the country who are now like sisters! I love having the opportunity to bring women together for good!”
WHAT MADE YOUR WEDDING DAY MEANINGFUL? “I wore the earrings my mother wore when she got married and my wedding color was the color my grandma used for her wedding. Those little touches made us feel like we were carrying on a special legacy. It was such an honor to see how many people were there to celebrate ‘us.’ We couldn't believe how far people had come to be there. Just before the ceremony, I shared a moment with my husband Aaron. We didn't want to see each other before the wedding, but we knew it would be hard not to talk, so we stood back to back and shared gifts with each other. It was a moment I’ll never forget.”

HOW DID YOU LEARN TO MAKE HORN JEWELRY? “As I was growing up, my family members were all involved in creating horn crafts and I always enjoyed helping them. Now that I am 23, I’m very happy that I, along with many others in my village, have this opportunity for work. In Vietnam, many rural areas do not have access to good jobs.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT CREATING JEWELRY? “I really enjoy the discovery of creating a beautiful piece of jewelry out of a raw piece of horn. My favorite part of the process is assembling the beads so I can see the finished piece. I also enjoy the social aspect of our group as we work together on orders for customers all over the world. Soon I will graduate from college with an accounting degree because of my earnings from my job!”
HOW HAS YOUR FAMILY HERITAGE PLAYED A ROLE IN YOUR LIFE? “I was born into a family and also a village that was lucky enough to have a traditional skill that was handed down by our ancestors. Our village history says that 400 years ago, a man taught the villagers to make horn crafts to help them get out of poverty. Every year, our village gathers for a special festival to celebrate this man and pray for a good future. The atmosphere within my family and throughout the village has always been one of continuous creativity. I’m grateful to be a part of it.”
“At 23, I’m grateful to be able to carry on my family tradition.” – N H U 68

Stacey WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “I decided to become an Ambassador after reading about Noonday in Jen Hatmaker's book Seven, which opened my eyes to the unequal distribution of wealth in the world. I loved that becoming an Ambassador would allow me to make a difference from right where I am.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART ABOUT BEING AN AMBASSADOR? “I absolutely love sharing the mission of Noonday and teaching others about how we can make a difference, regardless of where we are in life. There are so many people who do not know the power of their purchases! And the awesome community of Ambassadors is a close second. These ladies inspire me and encourage me every single day.”
HOW HAS YOUR FAMILY HERITAGE PLAYED A ROLE IN YOUR LIFE? “My dad is a pilot and soon I will be too! My dad knew from an early age that he wanted to fly. He worked until he saved enough money to pay for lessons and his first airplane. While other families loaded into a station wagon for a road trip, we would pile into the family plane. I always dreamed of becoming a pilot as a child too. Now that I teach aviation, I have needed my dad's expertise many times! Flying has definitely brought us closer together. We are now looking at airplanes to possibly buy and I can't wait to take my pilot test this spring.”

HOW DID YOU BECOME AN ARTISAN? “I wanted to contribute to my family rather than staying at home feeling helpless. I learned embroidery work from my mother, who also used to earn money as an embroiderer. Because I could never go to school, I feel so blessed to have found a job to support my children.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT EMBROIDERY? “I love bright, beautiful things. I am very happy that I can earn an income to support my family doing something I enjoy! When I see colorful goods in the market, I am inspired to try new designs in my own embroidery. When I start working on my embroidery, I forget my anger, sadness, and my crying. I become happy and calm no matter my circumstances.”
HOW DOES FOOD PLAY A SPECIAL PART IN YOUR LIFE? “Hospitality is very important in our culture. To show that I respect my guests, I cook Shorwa (meat and vegetable stew) or Oorma Pulao (meat balls and rice) for them in our home. And each day, I gather with my husband and children and we talk about the happenings of the day over a meal. I also enjoy gathering with the other women who work as Artisans for a meal at the workshop. It is a time for us to chat, eat good food, and even dance together.”
“Cooking good food is a way for me to honor my guests and welcome them to our home.” – F A T I M A 78

Megan HOW DID YOU BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “Before I was a mom, I served as a missionary overseas and saw poverty firsthand. This experience taught me about the joy and hope that come when we give ourselves for others. As a mom, I want my children to become compassionate, considerate people. I joined Noonday to demonstrate compassion and service to my children – and to empower mothers across the globe!”
HOW DO TRUNK SHOWS IMPACT YOUR COMMUNITY? “I love that Trunk Shows open women’s eyes to issues of poverty and social justice in a way that is hopeful and empowering. I want each woman who attends a Trunk Show to walk away not feeling burdened by what she has learned, but knowing that she can make a difference. I want her to realize that she has the ability to transform her community and the world.”
HOW DOES FOOD BRING YOUR FAMILY TOGETHER? “I try to enlist the help of my kids as much as possible when planning meals. We pour over cookbooks and pick recipes to try. When I cook, I always have at least one kid by my side stirring, measuring, or helping in some way. Every Friday we make homemade pizza and the kids get to create their own pizzas. For our family, meals are the time we gather to begin and end our days together.”

HOW DID YOU BECOME A METALWORKER? “I was fortunate to be able to attend a trade school for metalworking. I enjoyed the work and after I finished school I built my own workshop. Sadly the workshop was destroyed in 2012 when Hurricane Sandy hit. That’s when I began making pieces for Noonday and was able to get my business up and running again.”
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT YOUR JOB? “I am happy to have consistent work that I can rely on. Now my business is growing faster than ever! The people at the workshop are friendly and I enjoy working with them. Plus I enjoy that the work I do is unique to me—I have worked hard to be the best I can be and I like using my skills to make something only I can make.”
HOW DOES YOUR WIFE SUPPORT YOU? “When my workshop was destroyed and it was hard to be motivated, my wife encouraged me not to give up. She always brings me food, helps me trace pattern pieces, and gives me good counsel. She also takes care of our son and does embroidery work at the workshop to help provide for our family. She is a good woman and I hope to help her achieve her dreams too!”
“My wife is always dreaming about how to grow our business. She is my biggest supporter at home and in my work.” – R E N A L 88

Bernice WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? “I believe God was teaching me about his care and compassion for the poor, and I finally started listening. I became convinced that I couldn’t continue turning my head or just feeling sad about people living in poverty. It was time for me to respond. Noonday has given me a platform within my community to speak truth, raise awareness, and give people the opportunity to make a difference.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT BEING AN AMBASSADOR? “The best part of my business is inviting women to be a part of a greater story. I think we all want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, no matter what our background or experience. I love inviting women to empower other women around the world. We have so much in common!”
HOW DOES YOUR HUSBAND SUPPORT YOU? “My husband has always wholeheartedly supported me. He balances my careful nature with a spontaneous heart. He encourages me to focus on opportunities, rather than obstacles. In my journey with Noonday, he has jumped in with both feet! He has switched to shopping with Fair Trade companies. He also always tries to be available to care for our children during my Trunk Shows. This allows me to be the best Ambassador I can be.”

HOW DID YOU BECOME AN ARTISAN?
“Jobs in Guatemala are very scarce. I am a widow and have seven children to help support. One of my daughters has special needs. I need to be home to care for her, but I also need to earn money to meet our family’s needs. When I met the leader of the Artisan group, I was offered a job as a beader. Now one of my adult daughters, Lucia, has a job here as well!”
WHAT DIFFERENCE HAS THIS JOB MADE IN YOUR LIFE?
“Working as an Artisan is the best thing that could have happened to me. Without this work, my life would be very complicated. This job allows me to work while being home with my daughter, so I don’t have to worry about her health. I also like working with the other women in the group. My favorite things to make are the wrap bracelets.”
HOW DO AMBASSADORS LIKE TESNEY HELP YOU PROVIDE FOR YOUR DAUGHTER WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
“As a single mother, I have sometimes felt hopeless and alone in my struggles. There are not many resources for people with special needs in Guatemala. After meeting Tesney when she visited Guatemala and hearing about her child, I felt so encouraged. She promised to keep working to create more work for us. I felt that she truly meant it because she understands what it’s like to have a child rely on you like my daughter does. After her visit, I went home feeling hope.”

Tesney HOW DID YOU DISCOVER NOONDAY? “I first heard about Noonday Collection after I started searching online for one of their alpaca scarves from Peru. I had seen the scarf on someone at an adoption conference and wanted one of my own! Once I found the Noonday website, I started reading about the story behind the brand and knew I had to join.”
WHAT INSPIRES YOU AS AN AMBASSADOR? “I’m a big advocate for family preservation. My adopted son Kirill was born in Russia and he has Down syndrome. His biological mom had no resources to help her care for him and ended up placing him for adoption. Her story inspires me as an Ambassador. I love that through my work with Noonday, I am helping to create sustainable jobs that empower mothers to keep their families together!”
“I shared with Dolores that because of her work, I am able to provide for my son with special needs. I carry Dolores in my heart every day.” – T E S N E Y
HOW DO ARTISANS LIKE DOLORES HELP YOU PROVIDE FOR YOUR SON WITH SPECIAL NEEDS? “As Ambassadors, we truly have a mutually beneficial relationship with the Artisans we work with. Dignified work is changing all of our lives for the better. When I traveled to Guatemala, I met Dolores. I shared with her that I use earnings from my Ambassador business to pay for Kirill’s therapies and equipment. She motivated and encouraged me. We agreed that having a child with special needs is not easy, but that whenever we felt sorry for ourselves, we would think of each other and keep working hard for our children!” 99

flourishing world... WE DREAM OF A
Have you ever had a dream? Jessica Honegger launched Noonday Collection in 2010 after she met Jalia, a talented jewelry designer in Uganda who dreamed of using fashion to create dignified jobs in her community. Jessica hosted the first Noonday Trunk Show, selling Jalia’s jewelry in her home to raise funds to adopt from Rwanda. Women fell in love with the style and story of Noonday Collection – and Jessica began to dream bigger than a fundraiser.
Jessica soon partnered with Travis Wilson, a friend passionate about social entrepreneurship and experienced in building businesses. Both Travis and Jessica had spent years working in Africa and Latin America. Together they dreamed of harnessing fashion and entrepreneurship to create meaningful opportunities around the world. Today Noonday Collection invites women across the United States to become Ambassadors: stylists, storytellers and social entrepreneurs who create a marketplace in their communities for artisan entrepreneurs like Jalia. By connecting artisan businesses to this growing marketplace, Noonday empowers them to create dignified jobs in vulnerable communities. As Ambassadors style their friends and change the world, they earn an income while enjoying a fun and flexible schedule. When you shop Noonday Collection, you join our dream of creating a flourishing world where children are cherished, people have jobs, women are empowered and we are connected. BLOG
