ZERO BOW WAKE AT ALL SPEEDS

The S bow virtually eliminates the bow wave, which in turn produces less spray and less resistance. That explains the remarkably efficient fuel consumption. Moreover, the steep bow offers almost 3 feet additional interior space, allowing for even more roomier and spacious interiors.

PATENTED STEEP HIGH-FLARED BOW

A beautiful new hull form with the patented Steep High Flared Bow results in higher hull speed at lower diesel consumption. The sharp entry angle of the bow minimises bow wake to an absolute minimum, resulting in less resistance and less spraywater. The high position of the flared bow protects the vessel and his crew from taken water over the bow when in rough seas.

EFFICIENT PLANING

Maximum performance with industry-leading fuel efficiency. At her topspeed of 26 knots with standard engines, Yanmar LY440 HP, the fuel consuption is up to 25% less than major competitors.Convincing evidence of the advantages of a lightweight aluminium construction in combination with ‘state of the art’ naval architecture.

GLASS ROOF OVER DINING AREA

The glass roof above the dining area in combination with a glass beam all around the hull result in a surprisingly bright foreship with seaview everywhere. The lay-out of the foreship is flexible. For example a dining area with two bedrooms and two bathrooms or a three-bedroom configuration.

SIDE DOOR IN WHEELHOUSE

The pantograph door on starboard in the pilot house near the steering position allows for short-handed mooring and/or easy communication with the deck crew.

CONVERTIBLE IN ANY WAY YOU WANT OR NEED

The unique combination of a vertically lifting wheelhouse roof, an integrated XXL glass sliding roof and a ‘hidden’ canopy in the cockpit literally makes it adaptable for the warmest, coldest, roughest and calmest conditions in all offshore markets. It makes the 52 S literally the most ‘convertible’ motoryacht in the market.

TENDER GARAGE

The tender garage offers secure storage for a small tender which can easily be launched using our home made sliding system. Alternatively the garage offers spacious storage space for bicycles, watersports toys or bulk goods for long distance cruising.

HIDDEN CANOPY

The cockpit has a bimini system that is hidden in a cassette. The bimini can be extended to a fully closed canopy, enlarging the living space in less sunny weather conditions.

FLEXIBLE BATHING PLATFORM

The hull lenght of the 52 S is 14.99 m., a critical limit for many sailing area’s in , Europe, e.g. the Rhine. The overall length is determined by the choice of bathing platform. This can vary between 0,60 - 1,50 m, either fixed or hydraulic.

PROTECTED PROPELLORS FOR SHALLOW WATERS

It’s the client who decides which propulsion system is installed. Shafts, IPS, Zeus or jets are all possible. If the choice is for shafts, we will protect the propellors for unexpected shallow waters with a strong aluminium heel.

‘Let there be light!” The amount of glass in the 52-S is striking. The liftable wheelhouse roof in combination with the XXL glass sunroof creates a bright, light and airy atmosphere in the wheelhouse, making you feel being outside whilst being inside...

CONVERTIBLE CAPTAIN’S SEAT WITH HYDRAULIC FLOOR

Amidships is a double captain's seat situated, that electrically can be converted into a chaise longue when moored, extending the lounge area. The floor in front of the captain’s seat can be hydraulicly adjusted to allow maximum visibility, no matter the size of the skipper.

FRAMELESS DOUBLE GLASS FOR SEAMLESS PANORAMIC VIEWS

All Steelers feature double insulated windows for maximum comfort, minimal energy use and condensation. In the 52 S we managed to virtually eliminate frames enabling unspoiled, impressive and safe visibility. The double glass throughout in combination with full foam insulation makes the 52 S an all season boat for all climates.

FENDER STORAGE IN GANGWAY

Fenders are not the most esthetic feature on a ship and often hard to store and reach. We created a smart solution to hide them during sailing in the gangways and on the foredeck, it’s grab-and-hang for eight fenders!

360 DEGREES PANORAMIC VIEW

The amount of glass in the 52-S Offshore is striking. Examples include the aforementioned sliding roof, the windows in the pilot house, the glass surrounding both sides of the hull and the window above the lounge and dining area of the pilot house. The usual dark area’s in the foreship are lightened up through the glass beam around the hull. Wake up anywhere and enjoy the views!

Steeler DMS keeps you in touch with your motoryacht, also when you’re not on board. Check your batteries, start your generator or switch on the heating system. All this on your computer, iphone or tablet. This system is canbus based and, unique for Steeler, we combine it with digital switching. The client decides what needs monitoring and our Steeler engineers write the personalised software. A very important benefit is that Steeler has also access and 70% of the servicecalls can be solved remotely anywhere in the world. A comforting thought for Steeler owners to have a 24/7 helpdesk available.
