A book by Giancarlo Norese. Published 2000 by Placentia Arte, Piacenza, Italy (98 pages, 101x131 mm). I often think about the process of naming people on the page of acknowledgments in art books. Having one’s name printed on these pages means to be recognized as an interlocutor and makes visible one's own involvement. Named people are existing people. I want to exist. I asked curators to include my name — amidst others — in exhibition catalogues so that I could artificially feed my own public acknowledgment.
