Norfolk County Office of the Mayor Message from Mayor Amy Martin

I am proud to share the Norfolk County Spring and Summer 2024 Program Guide with you. The following pages are filled with a variety of programs, courses, lessons, and other fun recreational opportunities for all members of our community.

We are thrilled to announce that the Delhi Kinsmen Pool will reopen this June after being closed in the summer of 2023 for renovations that include a new pool liner, upgrades to changerooms and customer service with a focus on accessibility. Now, lessons and recreational swims will be available in two locations from early June until the end of August.

Have you started thinking of ways to keep your kids actively involved during the summer? Our camps include a wide range of exciting activities and adventures at locations throughout Norfolk for children ages four to 12.

For the most current information on County programs, please visit NorfolkCounty.ca/Rec, and to register for programs, visit NorfolkCounty.ca/ENCORE. If you’d like updates sent to your inbox, subscribe to the County’s newsletter at NorfolkCounty.ca/Newsletter.

Are you looking for other ways to stay active? Norfolk’s trails and parks offer residents open spaces for sports and games, trails for walking, running, and biking, and playgrounds for active adventures. Flip to pages 52 to 57 to read more.

On behalf of myself and Norfolk County Council, enjoy being active in Norfolk County this summer!

Sincerely, Mayor Amy Martin

As a lifeguard I have made many new friends and gained valuable teamwork skills. I am entrusted with keeping others safe, and given the opportunity to teach and support kids with learning important life skills in swimming. It is incredibly rewarding to see them progress and gain confidence in the water. I enjoy meeting others in the community as well as participating in a fun and social work environment!
